Just the three of us.............

Last night after sending my lovely wife to the airport, on the way home, I was sharing my love story with my two boys on how I met their mother and how I'd always love this wonderful woman till the end of the time,(pause, whenever I say this to my friends, my friends would always tease me that I should not say it too early cos as they claim, people change)

After hearing my love story, Marvell said to me,"Papa, you are a very nice man" I said to him back,"Son, you can grow up to be a very nice man too" at this juncture, I was stretching out my hand to Jovial who was sitting next to me, he reciprocated by holding my hand,I then said," Jo, you too,you grow up to be a nice young man"

Now back to my friends' contention that I should not say it too early when it comes to loving somebody to the end of time, cos people change....is it true? If I intend to,aspire to,working toward it to,changing myself to be better to, can't I still say that I am determined to do just that.....

So, when me and my two boys went home, we managed to catch a show on Astro "Bio" where it depicted documentary about "labor pain" as the three of us were watching, I patted Jovial hand and said,"Jo, remember that delivery of a child is a real agony" but he surprised me with this," But papa, mother gave birth to me by 'operation" ma, that was quick and easy" I was like dumbfounded but I said this back to him," But carrying a baby in the stomach for 9 months could be real stress" and he nodded.

Husbands : Go and give your wife a hug
Son and daughter : Please tell your mother that she is the greatest and have a great weekend and God bless

P/S : We can still love till the end of time

  1. Eugene, is this a mother's day dedication post? It sounds like it. In fact, we should buy gift and give it to our mother on our Birthday.

  4. A hug and sweet talk is not enough to compensate the 9 month pregnancy + nurturing her children until 21 years old (I'm greedy and I know it, hihihi).

You taught your sons well. Your future daughter in laws are going to be thankful and grateful for their good and loving husbands ;)

  8. Eugene, I believe not many men are able to express heartfelt things. You are a rare breed.

I remember hearing a gynae friend saying that he'd rather the baby be delivered naturally than by c-section because the latter is a more complicating process having to have the tummy opened up in layers. The healing process takes longer too. Your boy probably need to be aware of the complexity of a c-section vis-a-vis a natural birth. My two cents. Happy w/e.

  9. I learnt to say 'I love you' to everyone that I love and cared for. It's because...you never knew if there will be another chance to say it to them again.

  16. Bro, I am happy for you..
Family is the most important thing....
Problems started when husband not faithful, then cause arguments, kids get frustrated and then become problematic child...
I always miss my family when I travelled.....
    have a great week ahead.....

  18. hahaha I laughed at the last second paragraph. Smart Turn Bro! Smart Turn! (as in carrying a baby in the belly for 9months)

It is true that Mother / Female is the most respect and loving in my perspective view.
