Please say likewise to me,Jo....

Yesterday, when Jovial and Marvell came up from their swimming session,it was already about 7.40 PM, at that time my wife was busy preparing dinner in the kitchen, when Jovial saw his mother in the kitchen, I heard this coming from him to his mother, he told his mother this.

He said," Mommy,do you know that I love you a lot ?" I took at peek at them when that took place and I saw him hugging his mother while she was preparing the dinner, at one point I was happy because my 14 years old son has got no qualm in showing his love, albeit it privacy but on the other hand,he very seldom says that to me and I am jealous, hahahhahah.

So when he came out from his kitchen, jokingly I asked him why did he not say the same to me,then he replied,"Papa, we are man,ma" Sigh..................................................

P/S : I am convinced that there is so much love in my boys............

  4. Moms usually get the sweet soft side of a child. Dads are lucky to be even getting a "Thanks, Dad". LOL

  9. By the way, Jo is right, man talk is different. Anyway, mummy boys and daddy girls. It is normal for your boys to be closer to mummy than daddy.

  10. LOL~ Eugene oh Eugene. Don't be jealous, your boys love you equally as their mother. Just that it's kinda awkward to express the 3 little words, man to man.

Women would say, "I love you, Beth", 'Beth' being a good friend. But we hardly hear men say, "I love you, Adam", that would be very gay, right?

  11. Even I envy your wife. My 14 year old son hardly hug me or say "I love you". He even doesn't like me to hug him...I wonder why is he so different from his 2 sisters who hug and kiss me a lot. He uses other way to show his love... pour me water when I'm sick, used lego to make a Heart for me, etc.
