Teaching him about Money.....

So I parked my car and the parking attendant came, he asked,'Berapa lama?" I said, "setengah jam' he replied," 40 cents" I then gave him a one ringgit note and asked him to keep the change.

Marvell looked at me and said, "Papa, you are so good lah, not many people will do that" I then said to him, " Son, you must always remember this, it is always good to make people happy with the little that we can give" I continued," We must be thrifty at times but at the same time, we must know that we cannot be a miser"

Marvell then said, " Papa, no worries, I know what you have thought me is good, I will remember also that, when I grow up, when I make a lot of money, I will remember to help when I can"

You see, me and my lovely wife have always thought our children to be careful with "money", we thought them to learn to save, at the same time we always thought them how to be "generous" to their friends too that they cannot always wait to be "treated for free meals" they need to give too.

I really want my children to grow up well and I don't want them to grow up "to learn to spend and be in debt" I used to tell them about how the youngsters now "how they spend beyond their means" and got themselves in the shackle of debts.

P/S : Money sense since small makes a lot of Money sense

  7. If Marvell grows up to be a doctor, I'm sure he will help the poor and sick. And he has to remember to thank his papa for teaching him all the good values since young.
