Just some little tips.....................

Before I sign off for the weekend, just would like to share a little parenting tip, I hope and I pray it will remind us of something important, something that we should all be teaching our young ones and I know sometimes it is hard too.

Please teach our children to learn to accept  "NO" for an answer sometimes, please share with them what rejection is all about and rejection itself is part of the strength for them to grow up...............

Please share with them that if their boyfriend or girlfriend rejects them, it is not the end of the world and if they flung their exams, there is just no shame in it,if they have tried their best.

And as parent, please learn to 'let go" sometimes, let them fall sometimes and please don't molly coddle them with all their requests.

Have a great weekend and God bless ya

P/S : I am still learning............

  5. It is only too easy to give in to kids. We not only have to teach the kids to accept No, we have to first teach ourselves to say "no, I'm sorry, you can't have that."

  6. Yeah i was sad for the recent suicide case. The best way is being with the broken hearted child to cheer him up and adopt your wise method. Have good weekend!
