My mom and her bread............

For one shocking moment, I really thought my 74 years old mom could operate a computer and surf the Internet.

Took her out for breakfast yesterday, out of a sudden, she asked me,if I'd known from the Internet already the buzz about boycotting a certain brand of bread that had capital,"G" on it, I said to her that I'd and she asked me did I respond to the call, I said not yet.

Proudly she declared that along side with most of her friends, they'd switched to another brand that had, initial "M" on it then I asked my mom did they exactly know the reasons for the so called,"boycott" and was there any truth in it, she just said,"must show them some colors lah" Ditto.

Moral of the story,Internet is powerful, having said that powers of Aunties can never never be discounted as well and now I am rather convinced that here in my home state "Penang" Pakatan Rakyat under the DAP will still win the next General Election, don't believe me, all you need to do is hear it from the aunties. They will tell you this," Ah Eng (Ah Eng is a moniker used referring to our Chief Minister of Penang) is so good," Ah Eng has made Penang so clean already" and all the goods about Ah Eng.

By the way, I have switched to Massimo bread too,cos I like the color, the quality and particularly the price, I am not boycotting, I am just being smart consumer, that's all.

P/S : Never belittle anybody,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  2. Bread or Ah Eng, we should never let our government filter or censor internet or any media as we can never trust our government.
But I do notice our government do censor oppositions' websites during recent election.

  6. I still can't find that brand ever since I heard so much about it. It appear to be a good value for money,as it is cheaper and weight more right? Did it taste as good as the other brand?
Sometimes we cannot blindly be faithful to a certain brand even though we have "eaten" eat for years.
One thing for sure after 54 years certain bread has already turn stale don't you think? It's time to go for a new brand of bread now. GE 13 I am waiting.

  15. Just came back from a coffee break with my customer,as I passed by, I saw a friend, with him on the table was a green load of Massimo bread, jokingly, I said,"so you are going on crusade too ka, Wong?" he laughed and said this back to me," I just want to show my displeasure to certain things, and to also show someone, who is the BOSS" we both had a laugh
