Initially I really thought that Subway was just another fast food outlet with the so called,"normal foods" like other fast foods outlets have to offer but when Jovial started liking it, man I was bought over and I rather have Subway sandwhich than that of big "M"
Looks like we will still be frequenting Subway for a long time now and trust me it is ok and worth the money you pay for...................
P/S : These foods are good
subway is suppose to be healthy and all, but yea I think it tastes GOOD too!! :)
ReplyDeletesubway just had a buy 1 sub free one sub promo on the 14th September 2011. Every year they will have it once... the queue was so long! Scary! Until 9pm there was still queuing T^T. hubs and i wanna buy for breakfast also can't reach so we left.
ReplyDeletethrough out the month they got promo for a sub meal for $5.90. A good deal I must say :D.
Not cheap... There was one near the hotel where I stayed, back of Gurney Hotel. Went in and went out... Same thing with the one in KL - one at Sg Wang Hotel. Heard my daughter talking about it and enjoying it so much in NZ - it seems we're being shortchanged. So very few options - take it or leave it...unlike over there. I was so disappointed as I had expected a lot more...
ReplyDeleteEugene, you are the second blogger I know who dedicated a post, personal account of Subway. I like their sandwiches too... And the price if compared with fast food is not that expensive. Trick is to go for their daily specials...
ReplyDeleteWoh, the sub in the foreground can sure build up one's appetite! LOL! These subs are definitely more healthful than other fried, oily fastfood.
ReplyDeleteBtw, best wishes to you and your wifey if you're taking part in the StarWalk tomorrow.
Oh definitely not cheap, but for that size, it is worth every cent. Like it too, altho sometimes I supposed it depends on the choice of filling. salah combination, abis lah. lol. too bad Kuching dont have (as far as ive noticed)
ReplyDeletei have taken once only near Gurney there.. ipoh dont have subway yet.. sigh...
ReplyDeletehmmm.....my friend in Penang also gila Subway wor.....
ReplyDeleteIn US, Subway is a great food business concept in comparison to others as the set up is much simpler in comparison to other burger, Taco or Chinese fast food joints.
ReplyDeleteTypically there is no gas lines, no grease exhaust hood and thusly, no need for grease interceptor/trap. So this save a lot of up front design and construction costs. But the asian hybrids might be different.
People consider it is healthier than burgers and fries.
Next time must give it a try.
ReplyDeleteYea, I see many people queueing most of the times... For me, so so only.. hehe :P
ReplyDeleteTheir serving is a tad big for me :p
ReplyDeleteSubway, have yet to try it out. Will give it a try when there is a chance
ReplyDeleteThere is one just open at Jusco klang.
ReplyDeleteHave yet to try though. I used to eat at the one at submit Subang, when I was there for the morning body combat class.I create my own sandwich.
i love subway, healthily (MINUS the sauces, of course) delicious... hehee
ReplyDeleteWe like Subway too but not to the extent of being crazy over it la. I still find the processed meat not too healthy :p We usually go for the breakfast as it's more value for money (with egg and drink). Subway has more branches than the big "M" worldwide so you can sort of gauge it's popularity already.
ReplyDeletei luv subway sandwich too. havent get the chance to try out the breakfast set though, let's go after our morning jog? :D
