Me and my lovely wife have got this couple of good friends from Norway who reside here in Penang, we would meet up for drink about every 3 months once, every time we meet up, the beautiful dog of theirs would be there. Last weekend, we met up but there was no sign of that dog..........Trutimok.
( I must agree this dog was so nice, the above picture was taken a few months back, glad i do share some feelings with Trutimok)
We knew it would be impossible for them to go out without that dog,so as my lovely wife asked about the dog, suddenly she felt kind of agitated and said," Oh no please don't ask me about it" We were equally stunned by her expression............and we saw tears in her eyes.
As we chatted along, we found out that the dog was dead,(Put to death, cos she suffered kind of like cancerous disease and our friend could not bear to see her suffer any longer, so that was the last resort)
Seriously speaking, I had a dog when i was small but i never knew that a demise of a dog could have such a painful impact on her owner, my friend and her husband lost the usual chirpiness and cheerfulness and it was really like the end of the world for them.
She said, every night when she went on to bed to sleep, she would cry cos the dog would sleep with them, every time she woke up, she would cry too cos the dog would like cuddling up to them.
Be strong my friend,, Turid and Sidmon
Note : Any doggy experience to share?
P/S : Detachment is painful when the attachment is strong
