I am not saying you are wrong.....

"So she spends 70% of her time at work, 20% socializing with friends, and 10% with her family. Her kids are being raised by others, she can't remember the last time she cooked a decent meal for her husband. And she complains that her marriage is not all that "great"? What do i tell her?"
The above is the copy and paste "wall message" on her Facebook i borrowed from a dear friend of mine from Australia........and i know it will sound very unfair to any "working moms " out there and i know that life is indeed hard for you ladies, juggling works, house works,"husband works" and "children works", if someone were to shout"hey lady, set your priorities, right"

But seriously, can we all set our priorities right? I for one, cannot but i will do my best to do what i believe is dearest to me..............my family. Some times when i show my "face' to my wife when she is so oblivious to my presence when she "has" to reply the incessant barrage of emails, do i feel that i am being "sidelined" sometimes i do, but does she neglect me, i don't think so or may be at that time her priority is her emails and not me.

Marriage is a funny thing,,, a lot of my friends some of whom have been married for so many years, sometimes they will not feel the way i feel, simply because they will joke about it,"老夫老妻“ old couple already, no need to " kan cheong" concern so much already lah, let her do what she wants and we do what you want, you happy and she's happy.

I for one love to have this 僮景 a vision that if God's willing, husband and wife should still be loving, should still be holding hands, should still be able to make jokes with each other until the time runs out on them but sadly and truly, many of us tend to lose out the joy of the little things like holding hands, have a beer or two with, talking nonsense and i am sure that requires just a little attention and eats away not much of your time...............

  1. Working mum is indeed very taxing and tired. Thanks for your understanding. Your wife is blessed to have you.

  2. It takes two for a marriage to work.

Both husband and wife should set their priorities right.

  3. I reckon with you. Both husband and wife should know what to come first! Putting blame on each other is not right too.

Your wife must be very grateful to you as her beloved husband.

  6. It takes two to tango. The best works for me is, try to communicate as much possible with my spouse. Ranting doesn't get us anywhere.

  14. In life, there are many priorities. You just have to choose them wisely. You basically can't have them all. If you concentrate more on career, your family will pay the price of neglect. It is not easy to strike a balance.
