Be realistic Eugene, be realistic..

I was rushing to the bank this morning, rushing? ya, cos i wanted to go to subscribe to a new IPO today 21st of April closing date, as i was making my way to the bank, my steps were halted half way through when i saw....................

When i saw an old vagrantly looking man stooping on the stairway down my office, i completely stop and began to pace up to him, i began to ask him in Hokkien," Uncle, lo chaik pa ah boey (have you taken your breakfast?"

He responded by shaking his head, i then dug deep into my pocket, took out my wallet and handed him a RM 1, then i walked off.

Before i could really walk off, i was thinking to myself what did i do to this old man? giving him RM 1 for breakfast, what could RM 1 make up a proper breakfast then i ..............

Then i turned back and walked up to him again, this time i handed him a RM 5 note instead. i was kind of naughty though or they say in Hokkien "kuai lan" enough to............naughty enough to ask him back the RM1 note that i gave him prior to giving him the RM5. hahahahaha naughty naughty Eugene.

On the way back from the bank to my office, i saw him coming out from the kopitiam(coffee shop) and i was convinced that he would have taken a warmth breakfast

You see i started by asking him first if he had his breakfast, then i gave him RM 1 that could not fulfill his hunger, i thought i had done enough for him but in actual fact,,,no no no.

May be RM5 is not much to me really but i am glad that i could part with it that could have made someone put back the smile on his face, probably i would have given him some sunshine to look upon in the midst of all the gloom and doom and glory be to the LORD.

Note : Please forgive me this post is not intended to amplify my little deed, instead it is to remind us that when we look around us, there bound to be some one needing our help. Thank you

P/S : The little that you part with could well be a godsend to someone receiving it.
