"ain't no sunshine when he's gone, it's no warmth when he is away, ain't no sunshine when he is gone, he's gone far too long............" a funny song that just reminds how much i miss him.....
Last Sunday, sent my Jovial for a 4 nights 5 days Church camp, no handphone allowed, parents were discouraged to call unless emergency or vice versa. The good news is, there was no calls from him, i guess no emergency lah...........
You know during these 5 days without him around, it seemed a little weird at home and it was a feeling of "missing much" especially on the part of my missus.
I do miss him a lot too but it is a far cry as far as mothers are concerned, just the other day while i was talking with my lovely wife on how much we missed Jovial, suddenly i brought up one incident about a Special Night when my wife was crying so desperately as if she had just lost someone........
It was in 1997, when the two months confinement period was done, thus we had to send Jovial to the babysitter, i remember vividly, how from the moment my lovely wife stepped out from the babysitter's house, her tears were already welling up in her eyes and she totally broke down in the car on the way back home.
It was such a feeling from a mother,i reckon most man can't identify with. How great is a mother's love towards their young but then again there are crazy mothers too who abuse or let their boy friends abuse their own children.......sigh
Today our Jovial will be back after a 5 days sojourn and the first thing my lovely wife reminded me to do was to call her immediately when i pick him up in the afternoon.
An early Christmas greeting from me to you guys, let us foster the bond further............
P/S : If Christmas makes you happy then in return make someone else happy
Yeah, mother's love is the greatest love on earth! I can truly feel that after I have got my own kids, a mother can really sacrifice for her kids!
