So jealous of this dog.......

My friend has a dog and her name is Trutimo, my friend told me that she had to spend in the region of RM700 every month for her upkeeping, the dog shares the same bed with her and her husband. My friends even had to forgo her penchant for fine dining, all just because those outlets declined entry of canines. My friends told me this dog of theirs is better than their own children, it just reminded me of the old saying when someone says," it is better to keep a dog than those unfillial children," hahahahah, at least the dogs know how to wag the tail to show appreciation..

Personally, i love dogs but can't keep any because living in an apartment is a sure no no, that's why love to meet up with my friends periodically just to play with Trutimo.

I used to keep a dog when i was younger, her name was "Miko", one experience that i will always remember about Miko is that, when my father was sick and being treated in KL, for two days in a row, she refused to eat and just hid herself under the sofa, then one day i saw the tears in her eyes and at the same time i received the news about my father demise as well.

Do you agree of the saying," Dogs are man's best friend" ?

P/S : It is easy to keep a dog but don't treat them like slaves,,,

  1. I love dogs! But dont own one at the moment.. considering that no one would take care of it when I'm away to work.
Anyway, a pet and it's maintenance could be costly.. =_=

  2. "Dogs are human's best friends!" They are loyalty, if you put a bundles of loves and cares to train them, they can serve the nation well! They can be minesweepers and spies in wars, arson dogs, therapist, and even detect cancer cells... on top of that, they provide unconditional loves when you treat them like your kids!^-^

    Dogs are my buddies!

  3. I have a maltese, Tenma. Sometimes, people don't understand why I'm willing to pay quite a lot of money for her. People don't understand why I cut down my shopping money so that I could spend more on her. I only have one reason for that and I don't understand why people find it hard to accept it, I just love my dog! If a mother could do that for her child, why not me for my dog?

One of many things I love about dogs is they are, somehow, aware of people's feelings. If I'm sad, she cheers me up, and sometimes she just throw herself to my lap. When I'm happy, she's happy as well. I don't know how to explain this but you know what I mean :)

  6. 100% agreed that dog is man bestfriend. I love dog but I cant keep them as I'm living in an apartment too. Dog is very loyal..I used to have dogs but I dont think want to keep them anymore. I dont like the feeling that one day they will be gone. Still fresh in my mind, my mum called and told methat my dog is very sick and refused to eat. He was so strong to wait for me to come home. When I'm come home, he just starred at me with tears and sit at my lap. I dont understand but I can feel something not right. That day till now, he never returned home. I know he gone..

  8. I loved dogs and I kept 3 dogs when I lived in a house. My dogs are mood readers, when I'm happy, they wag their tails and when I'm in bad mood, they stayed away.

  10. I'm not into dogs...but I guess everybody has his or her own likes and dislikes - it's a free country, up to them to do what they like...as long as it doesn't inconvenience others e.g. like barking non-stop at night, leaving their poo all over on the road...and outside your gate, and peeing on your tyres etc...etc... Dog-owners should be more responsible. PERIOD!

  11. Miko is cute! I don't really hate dogs! I still prefer to play wif them than cats. Having kids around at home and some hygiene purposes, i don't own one! :D

  12. My kids always asked to rear a dog, but due to the high maintenance, we turned down their request. Instead, we rear fishes only.

  16. I was so touched reading the part about Miko's intuition of your dad's demise. Dogs have very strong bonds and connections with humans. I used to enjoy watching Astro's Animal Planet, and to watch programmes about how animals save humans' lives.

Our dog is very silly and I can't imagine her doing all these brave things but all the same, our lives WILL NOT BE THE SAME without her.

She 'escaped' through the back door last night and when we realised that we all started panicking and suddenly the whole world seemed so bleak. 10 minutes later we found her in the neighbour's driveway looking 'innocent' and no matter how many times we scolder her and told her off, I think she still thinks that she's done nothing wrong.

One day i hope that you'll find yourself a house, and then you can start thinking about having a dog because they are definitely men's bestfriends !

  17. My lil' Junior greets me when i opened my bedroom door every morning... and does the same when i return home from work, patiently waiting at the gate. Bad moods and stress just goes away when I see his wagging tail. Yea, dogs are mens best and most loyal friend.

  22. So high-maintenance.. definitely a big no-no for me! I've never liked dogs since young cos I was traumatically chased and bitten by one. I live in an apartment too but I have dog-lover neighbours who don't care about house rules at all. I hear dogs barking all the time here :(
