Tell me if this is true, for i am confused myself as well, so the story goes.......................
For about 3 to 4 times a week, i will send a son of a good friend of mine to school for he is attending the same school as my eldest, albeit different sessions, his noon, mine morning, both of them are 13 years old and their school is co-ed.
Usually during those journeys to school, they will give me a lot of insight of how a teen at his age thinks and behaves, there is just so much for me to learn from this boy, and in a way it helps me to better understand the sons of my own thus making me a better papa.
One day, i was on a subject about sex with this boy and i was asking him if there were any friends of his have started talking about sex and if there were any of them fiddling already with porn materials.
He told me they did talk about it and the porn stuff and all and then he was telling this in Mandarin," uncle Eugene, not only we boys watch the porn, even the girls are doing it as well" then i continued," so did you guys, boys and girls talk about it," then he said "no lah uncle Eugene, only boys but there is this one girl, XXXX (the name) said she loved to watch it and she had even done it."
Then pretensiously i asked," done what?" he then continue," done means have sex lah and she told us her boyfriend was a 19 year old boy" i kept quiet then i probed further.
" May be she is only joking with you boys," adamantly he shot back at me," no Uncle Eugene, i can be quite sure about that," then i asked,"how can you be so sure?" and what he then told me shocked me litterally.
He said," Because she invited a friend of mine "to do it " with her." i said," may be it is all rumours ," " No uncle Eugene, i am sure because she also invited me to do it with her" at this point i was dumbfounded.
Note : To continue tomorrow
A Bible quote to share, " Train up a child the way he should go and when he is old,he will not depart from it" Proverb 22:6

ReplyDeleteI've a 3yo boy n i m starting to get worried :(
*deep breath* I hope she won't get herself pregnant at such a young age. She will regret for sure!
ReplyDeleteEugene,I am afraid with the techology these days, children are exposed to porn at early age.
ReplyDeletewe can't hide or ignore this. you have to sit down and have a heart to heart talk with your son I guess. Not lecturing, but just giving the effect of such material, and maybe , just maybe he will see the wisdom behind it. Above all we need to set a good example ourselves, and when they see our walk with God and are serious, they will follow suit. Children see our lives and if we are acting they can see through us, so when we talk to us they will not listen, but if our lives are upright they will appreciate our advice. Most important we need to pray and pray for them that they will not be influence by the filth of the world
Not surprising
ReplyDeletegosh nowadays those teenage girl so darling.
ReplyDeleteWah! And she is only 13! *speechless*
ReplyDeleteNowadays, girls are even more daring and brave than boys. It's a challenge to train them, with all these peer pressures and the negative influence of internet materials around.
ReplyDeleteDouble speechless. Gosh, she's only 13? Imagine how many men will she sleep with when she's 18?
ReplyDeleteTime has changed... My school. boys' school...and next dorr - a girls' school. The girls - fierce, man! Very aggressive...my boys so mild in comparison!
ReplyDeleteHow scary! I'm not looking forward to the teen years!!! I'm told it gets harder (as they grow older)! BTW I like your proverbs quote, how true.
