The story of flying shoe........

It was a close shave for me into getting myself into an ugly fight if my lovely wife and my two wonderful boys were not with me and it was all because of this unreasonble, selfish rascal on a motorbike..........so the story goes.

I was in the car on the way home with my family, out of a sudden a motorbike came out from a junction without "stop.look,go" my first instinct was to hoot at him to alert him, instead gesturing sorry to me, he stared at me angrily, i reciprocated with a smiliar angry look at him.You will not believe what he did to me after which...............

I thought the whole issue was over and done with, you stared at me i stared at you, you were wrong and i was not so i drove on, after less than 100 meter, something dropped on my wind screen on my moving car, i had a shock (for it has never happened to me like this) i got the feeling something nasty was to happen...

A sound of "POP"on my windscreen, i put my car to a halt, only then i realized that the flying object was indeed a shoe landed on my car. As i looked infront, the same motorbike rider stopped his machine, angrily he walked over to my car, pounded on my car with his palm, picking up his shoe and brandishing his middle finger at me.

In a split second, i had a choice to make to walk out of my car and confront this unreaonable guy or staying cool in the car, my lovely wife was quick enough to stop me from any fight. Then i chose to be a loser and waving my hand gesturing a "sorry" sign to avert any unwanted scene.

I could have been a "road bully" who did the right thing in hooting my horn to alert any motorist who was in the wrong if i had my male friends in the car, i would come out with my friends and teach this guy a lesson to get him to admit his own mistake.

I dont understand this, you are in the wrong somemore you act as if you are right, my foot....

Have you ever encountered such a ugly road scene?

P/S : Road Bullies are sometimes not the bad guys but the good guys provoked to do bad things by the bad guys...........

  1. ya..some are real cilaka one. Thinks the road belongs to their grandfather

There was once at a school area this cilaka man parked his grand father's car in the middle of the road blocking all traffic.

My hubi honked him and the fella was like #$%&%. Then hubi got out of the car, and that fella pretended his car rosak. kakakaka...that was very funny. Car rosak but can start pulak.

  6. Yeah..usually our wife will be the one to stop us from acting out of control. But you did the right thing coz if you fight, you might end up with a few injuries or it will become a police case or worst, he might bring his friends to beat you up.

If it happen to me, I would be angry too. But i think, if my wife isn't around, I might end up with a fight. Anyway, we should be glad that nothing serious happened right?

Let God avenge such a behaviour.

  7. Sometimes, it's best to look the other way... Some things we just can't change. Like the Chinese KL taxi driver who wanted to charge me RM30 from Bukit Bintang to Pertama Complex...I refused and then he accused me of wanting to report him, and he wanted to fight with me... Young man!

  14. I notice a lot of road users are like that nowadays....when they are in the wrong and people hoot them, they get angry even though they are wrong in the first place! My hubby experienced this kind of encounter quite a number of times already. He will get very mad in the car when this kind of people show reaction even though in the wrong, but he won't come out to fight with them, but hehehe, he did say if there's no law, he will take the gun and shoot this kind of people and do society a big favour! Lesser of this kind of poeple on the road means more peaceful and safe driving!

  15. Good that you didn't stop and provoked a fight, what with your wife & children there. You know there's this saying; in an argument or fight, if you back off, you are not really a loser.. you actually win.. you win to be a better person!

  16. I find the honk is always a good way to 'alert' people.. I rather people honk me than giving me the high beem! Actually if I, I wont stop my car.. just drive on with his shoe.. muahahha..

  17. Flying shoe.. How scary, imagine if your wife was drving alone and ..with this road bully.. I must say you did a right thing.. ignore him.

  18. not only in your place, even small place like Sibu very often they show 凸 even when traffic is so heavy, so how to drive faster? some ppl like to show that meant his that 凸 is great! agree with 老二 if hubby not around sure show same!
bro to retreat as a loser doesnt mean u r lost but that guy will end up a a roti rojak soon, just see it in newspaper.

  19. Yes! Similar like yours on the first place. Staring.. then... he stopped his bike right in front of ours in a sudden! Nearly bang him. And scolding us bad words.. Like your wife, I asked my hubby to cool down. Else, can't imagine what happened.

  20. wa..throw his shoes?drive away with the shoes on your car la!then he got his one side of shoes to go home to on his bike!

    Geram betul!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wah..... really too much. That guy already wrong, somemore can throw shoe.

But you did the right thing. It takes a "bigger" man to walk out of a fight than to be involved in one. Some things are just not worth it!

  22. To be very frank,, i really wanted to drive away with his shoe but then again, the traffic was bump to bump, and if i did that, i could probably have provoked this maniac further,,,,,,

    ReplyDelete
  23. Forgot to share this with you,,,, my lovely was so cool when she said this to me ,, she said," probably this guy just got divorced, and his mood is damn low" because this incident happened near the National Registra Department,,,,

  24. Not worth your time to fight with a real loser who doesn't give a hoot about traffic rules. I have encountered quite a number of reckless people who wouldn't even bother to stop and look before turning out from the junction.

You are not the loser. That out of control fella is the real loser :)

  25. wah....admire ur patience...if were me, will take out my baseball bat and confronted him ... hahaha...

    ReplyDelete
  26. i'd say you're such an angel. i couldn't be patient like you, of course. especially if i'm on my way home from work... tired. sure i will get myself involve with a fight. last month, i even stopped my car flash my middle finger to a guy who honked me back right after i honked him for just cut in into my lane... he didn't stop his car... how i wish i have punching bag at home!

  27. Yeap, encounter one long time ago. Was driving and on 4th gear and suddenly, there was a car slamming it's brek. Gave a horn just to warn him.

He followed me and stopped right in front of me. He started swearing why I hornned him and wanting to open my door and hit me. Luckily, I lock my door. After shouting abusive words, he just drove away.

  28. Once a road bully signal my dad to drive to the emergency lane. So he did. He came down from his car, my dad wind down. he then hold my dad's shirt collar like "want to fight"...and we just said.. cant we talk things in a proper way rather than using force? that act scared me..i was like 15 or 16 yrs old then.

Its so sickening to see such people.

  29. anyway GLAD THAT U R OK....he didnt harm U.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It must have been very frustrating for you to appear apologetic although it was clearly not your fault. But I'm glad you did cos there are all kinds of crazy people on the roads... no point stooping so low and going down to their level just to get even with them.

  31. we heard so much about road bullies so it's better not to get the worst out of it.
