How not to forget my promises to her...........

I have been married to my lovely wife for 14 years already, so many promises have been made and so many promises have not been kept as well.

As i was driving back from work all alone in the car yesterday, this question came flashing at the back of my mind, what is one promise that i made to her that my lovely wife still remembers untill now but she chooses not to remind me of? Love to share this with you guys since today is friday, my happiest day of the week.

Back then, when i was dating my lovely wife, i was driving a manual transmission car. I remember one day while we were cruising in my car, happily i told her how i wish i could be driving a Auto Transmission (AT) car so that i can have one hand on the steering wheel, and the other hand tigthly holding hers, i remember this promise that i made to her.

Now that i have a AT car, suddenly this promise seems so distant, so all alone in the car i was telling myself,"Eugene, Eugene, keep that promise, do it, can you still remember the glee on her face when you made that promise?"

So tonight i will be doing just that, holding her hand while driving..........

Q) Do you still remember promise you made or your spouse made that once brought that smile to your face or his/her face?

Happy Friday guys and God Bless

P/S : This i promised you.........this i shall not forget.........

  3. I think, to my husband, promises are meant to be broken-words he never intended to keep. *shrugs* I dun believe in promises. They're merely sugarcoated words.

  15. Yes, that's the advantage of an AT! I actually learnt to drive using right hand only (b4 that, if I use one hand, can only be left hand) so that I can hold hands with hubby when I drive. Ha hahh.... that was last time la. Nowadays, I sit at the back with my girl when he drives.

And I agree with you that promises should be kept :) Have a great weekend!
