Violently Yours...... singned

Think about it for a while, is there any correlation between Bad Economy and Domestic Violence. Will it seize you when economy comes crumbling down on you, and can you keep your cool when everything and anything seems to go awry, will you vend your frustration on your family members?

He is 40 years of age, a sales manager selling motor spare parts, she is 34 years old, a sales clerk and together they have a 5 years old son, living in an apartment, driving a Hyundai . Just like everyone of us, so oblivious of the economy downturn and thought that it would only affect the "Kuai Lo" USA, and there was really nothing for them to worry about, untill..................

Untill the husband was served with a notice stating his monthly salary will be slashed about 18 to 20 %, and if the situation were to worsen, the company has the right to execute other measures deem fit for the management. And hence, this news of cruel reality suddenly took a toll on the family, he began to change.......

He has started to complain about the wife, and even the wife's family is not spared, everything the wife does seems to be at odd with him, he started using vulgar words at his wife, started to demonise, demoralise, despise and really making her feel worthless, saying that she is the burden to him now. At times he even hurls abusive words at her, that's not all yet....

He would go out and drink, and when he comes back and when the devil got hold of him, he would just find faults with the wife, and sometimes he would even chase her out of the house....

This is the story related to me by a dear friend over some drink with him last night, and the victim is my dear freind's sister.

Looks like bad economy is really taking a toll on us, with everything going down, what should we do?

P/S : It makes me feel so much better, when i know that i have a family there for me.....

  2. ressure leads to depression. I think the government or anybody should form a society to help the potential victims of inflation how to handle the situation...

  9. It must be really hard for him to adjust, I hope he will be able to pull himself together soon. Times are bad but I hope people would be able to pull through or at least learn how to survive tough times.

  10. This can be true and though the husband is at fault, he deserved sympathy too. The husband thought the wife is a burden while the wife don't understand her husband's concerns and, nagging and henpecking will make it even worst.
Communication is important here, both should talk and the talk shouldn't become criticism or negative talk, but supporting and motivating.
