That brings me back the old days....

Last night Jovial was so happy because today would be his last exam day as far as his PMR  was concerned.... So, I asked him, what would his plans be,did he plan with his friends some activities, he replied was none so exciting.

After talking to him, suddenly I felt some kind of nice feelings enveloping my whole self, remembering those times, when I finished my SRP (the form 3 one, kan?), I would have made plans even before the exam was over..

I would go for loads of movies, hanging out in my friends house,(playing guitars with their older brothers), catching some porn movies,(seriously we did that), they we would cycle to parks and swim in the streams, we would play some truants as well.

And we would just go out to have loads of fun, chit chatting in the coffee shop and making loads and loads of jokes....

But sadly, now the first thing the boys would do now is COMPUTER and more of it, sigh

Note : Do you have fond memories after your Grand Exams ?

P/S : I will always remember that

  1. Heck yeah! I enjoyed the feeling of doing nothing, just can sleep anytime and watch tv as much as I like. When my girl's exam was over, I was more relieved than her I think.

  6. My mom passed on quite young so I needed to do a lot of house chores. I remember I stopped doing house chores on the week I had my big exams (such as SPM and STPM). After finishing my last paper, I would rush back home to do cleaning jobs, such as mopping floor, cleaning toilet, and brushing kitchen.

I went celebrate with friends only on the next few days.

  7. Holidays! My parents will bring us for a week holidays i.e Genting, Cameron, KL.....all local tour but we enjoyed it a lot!

But my parents were too strict with me....can't go out with friends. So I've missed a lot of gathering with them :(

  8. We don't have computers and those high-tech gadgets back then. But seriously, I prefer my kids to go out and breath the air, rather than facing the idiot box or computer.

I didn't go out after my grand exam, needed to babysit for my younger sisters and helped around the house.

  10. My son has just finished his last paper today (the subject he "hated" the most -- Chinese subject).
He can't wait to invite friends over to play computer games, guitar and playing ball in the park (and watch new season of "How I met your mother").
I wish I won't hear him say "I AM VERY BORED". Glad he has hobbies such as playing piano, guitar and photography, it will help to occupy his time :-)

  11. Yes, kids these days...dunno what is wrong with them. No plans, no activities, no ideas... I guess it is not the in-thing anymore - all the things we used to do. Things don't seem to interest them anymore - they have other better things to do...just that I don't know what. Nothing, I guess.

  12. yeah.. the gadgets taking it's way to hinder the good moments of people together... When I was still a student my classmates and I would always go to MCdonalds and treated ourselves with sundae float and fries every after exams :)
