A few seconds of horror..........................

I have never experienced this before,I am sure neither have my lovely wife,it was just a few seconds and only those few seconds of helplessness and utmost anxiety and it was like between death and alive.

May be,if you are not yet a parent, you may not be able to identify with our feeling of fright and helplessness but I am sure those parents would surely share those feelings of ours.

So,it was a Saturday morning, Marvell was having his breakfast, his mom was washing the clothes and I was mopping the floor, then suddenly I heard this coming out from my lovely wife," Hiaz, Marvell, why so careless, walk passed the broom, you can also hit yourself."

I quickly ran to Marvell, holding him to me and asking him where it hurt,he showed me the spot (that was on his abs) I asked him was he alright, he said he was fine, I cuddled a little more, he didn't cry, then the scariest thing happened just before I turned around...............................

A brief second as I turned around, Marvell just collapsed on the floor,my wife was screaming frantically,I rushed back to him, to be frank in that moment,I did not know what to do,neither did my wife,we were calling out his name, I was praying in my mind,'Lord please don't let anything happen to him, pleaseeeeeee"

Just a few seconds, we were so afraid that something terrible could have happened to my Marvell,he was like lying that motionless for a few seconds in his mother's arms..

Then,he finally so called woken up to himself and proclaimed that he was all right, I cried when Marvell said this to me," Thank you papa, I am all right, don't worry" At the time of this sharing and writing, I could still feel that tears welling up my eyes

We'd made appointment with the doctor to have him checked today, please spare a prayer for my lovely Marvell..........

You  know, as a parent, nothing could break our hearts than to see our own children suffer, nothing at all...........

P/S : Thank You Lord

  7. God be with Marvel, protect him and by His will, he will be all right. Sometimes, shock does that to people - blood circulation disrupted...but yes, MUST go to doctor for check up. Do keep everyone posted as to what comes out of it. God bless you and missus and Jovial too.

  15. Oh dear oh dear... that was scary! What did doc say? Was it due to low sugar level, or something? I remember a friend during primary school days, she just fainted during assembly, but that was in the sun, and she had low sugar level, give sweet as immediate measure.

    Take care bro.
