Christmas presents ?

I was already in Christmas mood but my Yuletide joy was doused with a rude surprise early Monday morning, when my dear partner gave me a call,"Eugene, please come to office now,I suspect that our office has been broken into"

Indeed,my office was broken into, some cash gone, some computer hardware missing, some stocks got carted away and the losses okay just don't want to mention about it.

Look at the cut grill piece that they so nicely put on top of the boxes.hahahaah

The drawers that they took some "valuables" away.
These guys were good lah, they did not damage the whole door, they knew just what's right to "get the job done" thank god for it,otherwise, would have to spend more in repairing the "touch and open" system and the the new door. Thanks guys for a nice job

Well, looking on the bright side, these burglars were nice enough that they did not mess up my whole office, they did not take away my computer,my partner's computer, my clerk's computer, they did not ransack the whole place like burglars always do, and they were professional enough to "spot on" where the treasures were.hahahahahahah

Life goes on, I hope those burglars would buy some nice presents to their own children with the loots that they got from my office and in return giving their children some Christmas joy(if they do have children),never mind if I lost mine already.

P/S : Thank God that my business was "Business as Usual" and thank you "the burglars" for not ruining it for good.

  14. Like your Ah Q spirit..yes perhaps the burglar(s) is desperately in need of money more than you, to feed his children who has not eaten for days.

To add on another Ah Q spirit with this Chinese idiom in Mand. ~ 破財免災 pò cái miǎn zāi.

  16. Oh so sorry about the incident. You really positive minded. Look like the Santa took away the gift instead of giving you.

  20. Eugene.. I remember your post this morning after lodge a police report on behalf of my company. Well.. looking at the bright side.. I might have a new Ipad (finger cross) hehehe. My office being ransacked too. Mostly laptops with all important data was stolen. I hope that burglar cannot read the project thingy which cost million of ringgits. But I felt something fishy about this..
