Merryn put something up on her Facebook wall this morning, something which I really think is worth to ponder upon, something to do with blogging.
On a hindsight, what Merryn asked was something like this," Does blogging make you a better person ?" May be without you realizing it,sometimes blogging has taken away sometimes off your family time, your work time and even your own time to unwind.
In retrospect,I love to agree that blogging has in many ways made me a better husband,a nicer papa,(not all that nice yet though) and I am always reminded by the things that I posted, the ME that I am supposed to be or the ME that I wrote myself about, so blogging has given me the avenue to reflect on myself as a whole.
So, how about you,has blogging made you a better person?
More patient, perhaps? more humble, knowing that there are so many people knowing so much stuff than you do,may be? More appreciative to life's little things, when you learned that they were people who had so much lesser than you do,occasionally?
P/S : Change to improve, improve to be better
It has made me more patient...especially when the connection is poor...and I have problems uploading photos and what not or blog-hopping and commenting. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI learnt a lot from other bloggers, in terms of cooking and baking, doing art and making crafts, I hv improved a lot of blogging... curi curi idea frm other bloggers mar, lol!
ReplyDeleteI wrote this in February... For me personally... when I write (or blog), I'm giving a gift to myself that, in some ways, change my life for the better.

Yes, I feel blogging has made you a better person ...hahahaa... correct me if i m wrong.. how about me? better or worse? hahaha.. anyway, on the serious side, it does not matter much, as long as our hearts are sincere and genuine towards our friends, be it blogging or non-bloggers alike..
ReplyDeleteIt's depend on the subject. Does blogging make me a better cook? Yes, like Alice mentioned, I, too, learnt from other bloggers. Does blogging make me a better person? I believe it helps but using the old method ~ communicating and interacting, non-savvy is still the best method :)
