The reason I called..................

Sincerely I feel being a friend to my friends, I need to keep in touch with them, (not via social media platforms) but I rather call, and when I do make those calls to my friends, once again sincerely I do not ask anything in return....just to see how my friends are doing, hopefully I could bring some cheers,in their time of gloom and doom............

However said,I would still like to share some funny feelings parts of them shown to me by friends (not all though)when I called them up.............

1)"So why you call, looking for some "kan tau" kah?' I said, just keep in touch with you lah

2)"Now very tight lah, business no good."I said jokingly "I just want to see how you doing and I am not asking money from you lah"

3)"You sure you just called me, nothing in particular?. I said yes I just called to say hi to an old friend, that's all.

You see I am not blaming my friends for being such "realistic" about my calls, sincerely I would still call them up.

Last week,I've got the best satisfaction when I called up one of my old friends, whose wife happened to suffer from cancer,he said this to me and i felt real good," My wife is getting better now, thanks a lot by the way I really appreciate you calling me a few times already, since you got to know about my wife cancer, guess what? It helps to bring some joy"

So if you do receive my call,my friends, I just want to let you know the reason I call is because I am your FRIEND and I care, that's all.

P/S : It is just a call away

  1. Wow! You are such a role model!

I've always wanted to do this, I used to have a schedule of the people who should I call for the week, just to keep in touch, update one another, just to fellowship.

But I end up didnt get to do that for thousand and millions of excuses.

Haha nowadays I'm very lonely... can sense that I'm parting away with friends around.

Perhaps I should do that too. Random call and just keep in touch...

    Thanks =)

  7. i usually don't call my friends. There is Whatsapp now :p. Or facebook I guess.

Cause I don't know if calling would bother them. But messaging would definitely give them some time to reply. So technically, i am always in the text me if youc an kind :p.

  10. Yes, so very sweet of you. Usually people who do not frequent my blog or I don't get to meet on Facebook...after a long silence, I would call or sms them too...just to say hi and to keep in touch. Time and distance may cause people to drift apart and eventually lose touch completely. Real sad...

  11. Hehehe, we are living in this realistic and materialistic world, aren't we? So no doubt some of your friends are doubtful about you calling.

  12. well if we have been in touch regularly then they will be get suspicious and think everycall must be about asking something especially money. close friends keep in touch.

  13. Hmm, that's why it's good to always keep in touch. Otherwise, people will think we have bad motives, LOL. 所谓,无事不登三宝殿..

  18. Bananaz will call friends when in his or her area or passing by. When I pass Puchong oh someone lives in this area might juz ring up said thinking of you. Or when I hear some sentimental song or joke over the radio and it connects to that friend will just call to tell him 'hey remember this song bla bla..'

I buddy from Sarawak called just yesterday said he was waiting for her daughter to finish TaeKwonDo then he recalled the RM10 kungfu book we both shared to buy when we were kids which was just a xerox book and we both lolz for being conned.
