Don't worry bro.........

Suddenly it all came back to me now,all at once it sent shivers down my spine and I really dread to hear it again, this phrase of "don't worry bro"

One guy was so unhappy with another guy,it could be due to the shoddy workmanship the another guy did to the guy who was vending his frustration about somekind of house renovation, the supposedly victim was crying foul over the poorly done job,on the other hand, the contractor kept saying,"don't worry bro,I'll fix it" "don't worry bro,I'll fix it"

My experiences of "don't worry bro"
A friend who wanted to borrow some money said,"don't worry bro,I would return the money next week" and the next week was like infinity, gone with the RM700 as well

My mini HIFI went kaput, sent it to a friend who claimed that he could fix it like pinch of salt, kept calling him,"don't worry bro, give me one more day." again ,"don't worry bro,I am waiting for the spare part." eventually he told me,he could not fix it and did not even have the gut to tell me,instead giving me loads of silly excuses.

Had a few traffic summonses, called a friend who told me once that he had friends working in the police force. He said,"Don't worry bro, I will sure get the summonses reduced to half of the original compound" gave him my sumonses, end result, paid as guilty, no discount.

This happened many years ago, asked a church member (musician) to play at my wedding dinner,"Don't worry bro,I'd play for you" two weeks before my big day,he said cannot, no reasons given, no apologies.

I have many more "don't worry bro" frustration but I will stop here, let me hear your shares of "don't worry bro" frustration.

P/S : Now,I can sniff you out,"don't worry bro"

  1. Don't worry, bro...There are always things a lot worse. Look on the bright side - give thanks, praise the Lord.

If you look long enough and hard enough, there is always something to complain about. So...
"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things." (Philippians 4:8)

  5. I think not everybody are comfortable being called 'bro', unless very close type.

  7. Bro, you are just too kind, bro, that people take advantage of you! LOL! Oops! Couldn't help it. The way you put it is rather amusing. That musician episode must have been scary and frustrating for you.
