"Don't worry papa" said Jovial

His third term examination is just around the corner, on the coming Wednesday to be exact, on Saturday I called out to him,"Jovial, why are you still on computer playing Maple Story?" He responded "I know just what to do for my exam papa, don't worry"

The next day, it was true to his words,"I know just what to do for my exam" I saw him preparing his exam without being told to, he was in his room going through his revision and I guess I should be proud for Jo knows just what to do.

Comparatively, I have always been very proud of my two boys, they declined to go for tuition classes ,they've always assured me that they could do better than their peers who attend tuition classes and I really thank god for my boys.

P/S : May the good Lord, continue to bless them with wisdom

  2. My daughter never went for tuition either except for Maths & BM (experienced examiners) for a couple of months before the PMR - more to see the do's and don'ts as the teachers in the school were not examiners...

As long as they've been taught the sense of responsibility, just leave them alone - they know what to do and they'll come to you if they need help...like when they can't cope and would like to go for tuition and so on. Just make sure they perceive you as being approachable and are always there for them...or they'll look for "help" elsewhere.

  6. Eugene,
In deed you are so blessed. To have obedient children is better than riches don't you think? of course if you can still have the riches as well that that as a bonus.
Jovial is very discipline, and kept his word. you have done well as a papa, my friend.

  9. To prepare for an exam is a constant revision, it is not only to study a day or two before the exam

  13. Bananaz never had tuition, never study so never had great results hahaha. Wow you saved quite a fair bit on the tuition fees and saliva to tell them to study all the time. Glad your son are very disciplined in their own way. Hope you are not pointing your M16 on their head ooh..haha.

  14. Wow! So many parents here shared about their kids not having tuition. That is great and lucky for them to save time and money. I know many kids in KL whose parents spent over RM1000 per month on tuition fees alone.
