Remember The Time.........

After talking to her, suddenly i was humming to this MJ's song , it was "Remember The Time,"

Do You remember the time, when we fell in love, we were so young and innocent then. Do you remember how it began, it just seemed like heaven, so why did it end?.................this song is so sensual to me until now

I bumped into one of my ex girlfriends this afternoon, albeit a short stint one but it was in a way magical, the way we met,the way we became an item and this is something that will never never happen now, i mean amongst the youngsters....................in actual fact, the word "pen pal' will seem to be so alien to the teens now.

It all started with a pen, inserting the shyly written letter into a envelope, timidly signed off "Yours faithfully Eugene", sealed and delivered. Anxiously waited for the reply and she did, the first content was as courteous and shy as my first to her.....eventually.

Eventually, as we continued to Pen Pal, i raised a request, " can send me a photo of yours ka?" she obliged and it was bingo, soon enough another request," Can come out and meet ka?" she too said ok...............and we became an item..

Here i am sharing this, because seriously i miss those experience of writing letters,(i mean as far as pen pals are concerned) putting down your thoughts, feelings and desires in words, hoping the one in the receiving end would slowly dig into the content of your heart by reading those words,,,,,,,,haiz, so nice.

I just wonder how many of you out there can still savor the beautiful experience of Pen Pal, and how we long we could rewrite those letters again.

P/S : When words are intertwined with the desires of the heart and those words are stars

  2. I have pen pals too... a few to name. But we have lost contact since I left school. This kind of friendship couldn't last long because I'm very lazy to pen down. My bad.

  7. When I was a teenager, I found my 2 pen pals (both are boys) through Galaxie magazine. If now I ask my kids to find pen pals, they'll think I'm an alien from the milky way galaxy!

  14. OMG Eugene, the pen pal thing reminded me of my first ex boyfriend whom I was a pen pal with. We first fell in love with words and then we met in person and fell in love one more time!~ hehe.. Same thing happened with my present hubby, we met at a chat room, emailed for months, fell in love with words. Then he came from thousands of miles to meet me and we fell in love the second time! Even we are married for 15 years now, we still write to each other because his life is mostly in a bag. Oh, when we are mad at each other and prefer not to talk, we also write hehe... Maybe we continue writing a we aged since we don't hear very well! LOL!

Sadly, moving and growing... i guess it all stopped. I used to have one in australia too. But she stopped replying after some time :3.

Maybe my life should of been more of me instead of a dream. hahaha! young... too young~
