骗人的......and they think we are gullible.

Someone from the gomen(government) said following the increase of power tariff, the gomen would only expect a 0.27 per cent inflation hike, i said 骗人的...or you bluff one.

I went for my regular nasi melayu store to wallop my favorite curry chicken with another side dish of one small portion of vegetable, usually this Malay guy would charge me only RM 3.50 but yesterday it was RM4.20 and that is 20 per cent increase lo,, mind you, mind you.

I kind of protested to this Malay guy by saying,"Bang, bang, mahal lah (bro, expensive lah)" Jokingly he shot back at me, telling me to follow him to the market and to check for myself of this increase and that increase scenario.

It is very funny, every time the gomen increase a little here and there, they would come out in the press telling the people that the gomen would come down hard on those traders who simply increase price but then again, like my nasi Melayu seller lamented, no choice lah, he increased, i have to increase and you have to pay for the increase.

I overheard one lady telling another friend this in the coffee shop the other day, she was saying," He thinks (the husband) by giving me RM800 a month is so great ka? I give him RM1000 and get him to do like what he wants me to do,then only he knows how difficult"

P/S : Money is indeed to tight to mention

  3. I remember when sugar was increased a further 20sen, a drink at the coffeeshop also went up 20sen. Some logic!

Eating out is no longer cheap esp in places where they impose the plus plus.

  4. Wah...so fast already increasing?

Here, there's this very popular kampua shop - every day, so crowded...no seats, had to stand beside somebody's table to wait.

That day I went - only a few people and I wondered why. Maybe quality dropped already or what. Then I saw the sign - pasted over the old price (RM2.20) was the new price RM2.50...and instantly, business not so good anymore. See if they dare to simply increase their prices or not lah...like that!

I always tell my missus - price increase, don't buy...too expensive, don't buy - they can eat it themselves. So cilaka...so unreasonable, simply jack up prices.

  5. P.S. You do not know how much these people earned.

A kampua seller's son (now doctor) wanted to apply for a scholarship and he asked me to help check his testimonial.

I peeped at the father's income tax return and was shocked - annual income so much more than mine (teacher's pay so small mah)...and that is what he declared - I'm sure a lot more not declared. Any excuse they get, they simply slaughter us one - so rich everyone of them!

I told the son if I had known, I would rather be a kampua seller than a teacher....

  6. Alot of ppl take advantage of increases.. our government don't really care, because they have deep pockets and everything is sponsored by us, the rakyat.

Rakyat must vote, and vote for the right MPs. Deny 2/3 majority.

Bull shit, because I have paid more than double for their stupid barley which I stopped buying now, and then I got another love letter from Vic's tuition centre that they will raise 10% of their fees from July.

  10. they say the increase is to cover tnb's charges? what if they don't know how to manage the company and everytime they make loses we are suppose to help them cover charges(losses) is it?? of course the gomen always talk nonsense to justify the increase. they dont feel it because they have fat pay and all kinds of benefit thrown in ,but we the common wage earner feel it. enough is enough time to change!

  11. I'm really doubtful, gomen said 75% of household use electricity below RM77.... any mistake? Should be 25% of household using below RM77. No wonder these gomen ppl so rich.

  14. yeah, everything is getting more and more expensive now.. especially food and beverages, any increase in the ingredients albeit how little less than 1%, there will be at least 10% increase in the price we pay.. take the 0.2% increase in sugar price for example..

  15. Sigh.. our pay still remains the same. Gotta get myself a new job very soon.
