I was ashamed of myself.......

I have always thought my boys to be courageous to stand up to admit one's wrong and not trying to evade responsibility when mistakes are made and I believe I thought them well until I had to confess to my boys the otherwise.......................

This has never happened before but it happened last week and I was truly ashamed of myself, I really could not believe I did what I did........................so the story goes.

I was really rushing to get to my customer quickly as I had to rush to pick Jovial up from school, looking hard for a car park, spotted one, zoomed into it as fast as I could, alighted from my car, the usual parking attendant then came to me and said something to me in Malay like this as he was pointing to the bumper of the brand new Kia Forte," Bro, you just grazed that car,see the scratches or not?

Then I said to him "Never mind lah,you pretend you didn't see it and i would just drive, make around and come back to park" I knew this parking attendant have me in his good book and he is willing to be in cahoot with me, simply because every time when I park there, I would give him more than the required parking rate.

He then quickly said," Ok boss, go quick and make around and come back" and "go around and come back " I did and I eventually managed to go scot free.

What I should have done was to leave my number to the "Victim" telling him/her that I grazed his/her car at particular spot and telling him/her that I was willing to compensate for the damaged done............but I did nothing like that.

P/S : True intergrity is doing the right things, even when no one is seeing...............

  2. Sometimes in the spur of the moment, we may decide to do something foolish and there's usually no turning back... It happens to the best of us.

  3. Claire : the reason i went one round i came to park is because parking lots were hard to find and that parking attendant had helped me to wipe some of the marks away already hahahhaha

  4. Indeed its prove, easier to said than done. If it happened to me, I will try to do the right thing. If pocket is dried, turn one more round and park. haha

  12. Hai Eugene

My car was twice kenak, and it was very frustrating when I am clueless with the identities of the drivers. At first I just can't help but to curse and swear but after a while I just accepted it as it is though how I wish the culprit would leave a note of apology or something.

Well just to share with you my experience as a victim.

    Take care ya.
