I was watching the show "Glee" with Jovial last Sunday, there was this part where Noah Puckerman (the guy with Mohawk hair do) was locked inside the toilet for 24 hours and the girl who came to his rescue eventually was one fat girl.
Once Puck was rescued, he asked his rescue angel what did she want for her effort, thus the funny conversation ensued and i particularly like this part, said by the girl." of all things said, i just want 7 minutes in heaven with you"
I then gleefully and cheekily asked Jovial did he know what that statement " 7 minutes in heaven with you" was all about. He looked at me a bit gingerly and sheepishly replied that he knew it but not wanting divulge.
I knew that he knew what it meant by "7 minutes in heaven with you" but i just wanted to coax to open up and have some laughs at talking about sex and the movie. After much pestering and what not, he was still not giving in to divulge, I then asked him, was it about having sex, he nodded.
Usually, I would sit with my boys when watching "Glee" cos most of the times it contains acts, words spoken and scenes that are closed to the thing called sex, i want to make sure i am there when they have questions that i can answer them candidly and clear their doubts.
I cannot tell them not to watch "Glee" most of the teens are watching it but I just want to be there lah....................
I just want to engange them into talking openly with the parents about the sex thingy, instead of getting it funnily from incredulous sources.
P/S : I am glad they do talk about it
I like Glee show.
