The Big Timer and the Small Potato

Thank you guys i am doing all right but my left hand is still kind of bengkak or swollen but my blogging habit is still very much intact............

Yesterday morning i called up my share agent or they call remiscier and placed my order," so and so, how much is the price for MediaC 5090? " he replied," RM1.17 and RM1.18" then i asked him to queue for me 1.000 units at RM1.17 and asked him to kindly call back to confirm if the deal could be done.

Waited and waited, no call from him then i called back," so and so, is it done MediaC 5090 1.000 units at RM1.17 ? " done" he said, then i asked him why he did not call me back to inform me like i kindly told him to, and he did not apologize or anything like that, he just said busy.....

This morning, i called up my agent again, looking at the same counter and telling him to place another 1.000 units at the price of RM1.14 and i kindly asked him again to SMS or call me to confirm if the deal was done..

He did not call back, and i had to call him back then he said the deal was done and again i asked why didn't he call me back to confirm, he said too busy.

Have you ever felt like being treated like a small potato? I am looking to change my agent now... i might be small potato but every drop makes an ocean kan?

P/S : Never kick anyone's ass for one day it might just be the same ass that you are gonna kiss.

  1. I hate being treated like that too. But it's the way the world revolves I guess.

I still stick to my principle of "never burning down any bridges", the "kuli" you bully today may well be your boss next time. Similar to your parting sentence.

Btw, you are active in shares trading I see. Great! Would love to learn how to play it one day.

  3. According to foodie experts small potato dont trade in the market they would be waiting to be cut made into chips or soup only humans do the bid/offer. Therefore bear in mind you are not a small potato if Dan Quayle with an 'e' added behind.

  11. Eugene, many times ppl do this to me and I feel so pissed off, 8 out of 10 tens I give them a piece of my mind, esp if I know I am the paying party, the customer, and even how busy I'm sure a call or sms would not help. I'd tell them straight in the face, why is business too good for you or you think my business is too small and not worth your time??? Point blank, straight in the face, and tell your agent you mean business.

  20. On a different note, it is time to kick the greedy big timer out in Sarawak election.
They even lauched cyber attack to shut down opposition websites here in boleh land. There goes our little piece of information freedom.

  21. change your remisier!

nowadays, with internet share dealing, your remisier should be doing exactly like reanaclaire's - provide good service, including collecting AND banking in chaques.

with competition these days amongst remisiers, they might even absorb your transfer costs when you move to a another broking house. just ask.
