Let me share this story with you guys, after reading it,please do hold for a moment to ponder over it ya?......................
A church is having big problem every Sunday due to the limited parking lots, so one day one church member walks up to the owner of a auto shop which is adjourning to the church which happens to have ample parking lots and it also closes on Sunday
The church member then asks the owner of the sundry shop if he will be gracious enough to let the church uses his land for church over spilling cars, immediately the owner says it shall not be any problem and it shall be free of charge as well but the owner attaches a Condition............
The condition as according to the owner is such, the church can use his land for all the 51 Sundays in the whole year for free but on the last Sunday of the year which is the 52nd, his land shall be chained off and barricaded..out of bounds to anyone from the church.
Curiously that church member asks the owner why it is so, since he can let them use the whole of 51 Sundays, why not the last and the 52nd Sunday,to that church member this sure sounds absurd, non comprehensible and ridiculous.,the church member is dying to know what will happen to that last Sunday of the year.
The owner smiles then simply says this," This is to remind you that this is not your land."
We are like that a lot of times, aren't we? We take things for granted. We take our spouse for granted, saying "no need to show appreciation one lah,we've been together for so long already" We take our children for granted too," enough one lah, i send them to many tuition classes, enough lah"
When we have some windfalls, we say to ourselves" spend lah, bad times will not come so soon one lah"We even take our earth for granted." everybody is throwing, everybody is wasting, everybody is burning, what i do is only small fraction of it "
Enough said.......................................... we are own judge.

We are always take things for granted unknowlingly, but when we knew it, aiyah, we wish we should not do so.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely agree n also means we r all humans. everyone takes thing for granted. cos we want easy way out, convenient, etc... until something happen, we wake up. So, consciously we always must make it a point to do right n be thankful for EVERYTHING..like the air. air is given to us free from GOd. imagine, if God took that away??,,,
ReplyDeletehaha..he's so cute..
