I am weakened by his words.............

Right now i am vegatating in front of my PC, staring blank at the monitor, i have so many things to blog about, i halted for a while, thinking if i continue to write this post out of so much i want to share, what would be just one thing that i could pen down that would move me as a father, a husband.

Suddenly the father part just occupies the whole space of my mind now, i really want to share this, pen it down, keep it in the memory vault, hopefully in years to come, it will once again weaken his heart instead........so the story goes.

Just the other night, i was tossing side to side on the bed, could not really get to sleep, i remember it was only about 10.30 pm, thinking of my lovely family, picked up my handphone, touched the speed dial of Jovial's number. tu tu tu tu... Jovial answered.

I said," Jo, papa misses you so much, i can't really sleep now, you know?" then with his most comforting voice, he responded," Papa, i miss you so much" he paused for a while then continued," Papa, please go and have a good night sleep and i love you so much," i reciprocated by saying," love you too" i hanged up.

I don't know about you but i was truly weakened by his concern and those soothing words of wooing me to have a good night sleep. I really thank God for my family.

P/S : Soothing words are good antidote for insomnia........

  1. Haha its really hard to get an expressive dad nowadays. Me and my dad dont really say I love you to each other. We just dont have that culture. but we are getting there :D

Your family is very fortunate to have you as a husband and dad. vice versa! =)

  4. It's hard to get not only expressive dads but expressive moms as well. If parents don't inculcate words of love into their children, they'll never ever get to hear it from their offspring.

So, bro... keep up the Lights of Love in your family.

  5. Sobs...so touched. Family love - what many people need these days in this dog-eats-dog world...and sad to see among your comments that many do not express it. Say it out, say it loud...and the ties that bind will last a lifetime.

Psychologically, it is true that hearing some words of love before sleeping will promise a better and energetic day tomorrow...

I never tell my Dad that I love him, but deep in my heart I really care and love him. So, I show my love by act...celebrate his birthday, buying him things, cook for him and etc
