I am proud of him......

Today i feel very proud of my Jovial, not that he did anything spectacular,it was just that a little thing called "initiative" that he carried out all by himself that made me wanna holler,"bravo, kudos Jovial" so the story goes....................

You see, tomorrow Jovial will sit for his end term school exam, he was cool about it, no trace of urgency on his side, no manifestation of "huff and puff" from his action, all he wanted to do this weekend was this, he said he wanted to go through his school works, did his revision without being asked to..

He deprived himself of PC gaming session substiantially this weekend and he willingly made my lovely wife his consort in helping out in his revision and i am proud of him.

Just i am blogging now, he is sitting down with the rest of the family watching Amazing Race, according to him, a way for him to chill and he just said to my lovely wife that he would stop watching at 8 PM and to kick off his revision again...................

You know, i am very happy with Jovial sense of "initiative"

P/S : Sometimes it is the attitude that counts

  3. Many kiasu parents are only/too concerned about grades. What is most important is one has put in a lot of effort and tried one's best, never mind the results...and sacrificing anything for it is simply more than what one can ask for. Double thumbs up and good luck, Jovial. You are blessed, Eugene - such a wonderful son.
