Should have known better...

I stumbled upon this article published in one of the local Chinese dialies last week, the intent and the content of this article in the form of public apology was from a husband seeking forgiveness from his wife because he had cheated on his wife.

Sometimes it really makes me wonder is it really that easy to forgive a person who has betrayed my trust, who has nullified the vow, who had enjoyed himself or herself at the expense of my sorrow.

P/S :Begin with the end in mind

  2. Is that a rhetoric question, bro? Of course it's not easy. And it's even harder to forget too, even if we forgave!

  6. 是不容易原谅。。女人通常会为了孩子而忍气吞声。。。我想,在孩子长大独立前,如果做先生的表现良好,太太或许会放下成见,原谅他吧。。。

  7. It's not easy to forgive. He apologise publicly because he really regret or is it because he was found out? Public apology like this, the wife is put into a spot light. If she dont forgive him, friends and family will say she is cruel and heartless. But if she forgive him, not sure pulak whether it's due to peer presure.

  9. At the end of the day, it's always better to forgive and forget, have peace and heals rather than keep on harping on the issue. And that's what usually couples wanted. Divorced is usually the last thing in mind.

  12. I wonder if the wife never realized, will he post this up or stop the affair?

Hmm..it's just up to us to decide whether the person is worth to be forgiven, otherwise just move on :)

  13. So make sure you do not need to do anything like that... I wonder whether things have changed for the better after that for the couple...

  15. We willnever truly heal if we not forgive. We never satisfy until we forgiven. So, forgiveness is the must. Its hard and hurts too..but life is too short to bear all those hatred..

  16. At least he admit he's wrong! He's try to make up things here adn definitely is not easy to admit it in the public! Why not, if he's really regret from the bottom of his heart! he's worth to be forgiven! Everyone makes mistake!

  20. i have friends who argued on bank accounts - joint or individual once you are married. my girlfriend and I said individual, a guy friend said joint. we said guy cannot be trusted etc etc etc...us girls need to protect ourselves. he said.... when you get married, you should NOT plan for something bad going to happen, you should plan you guys be together till the end. hence joint account. sound advice i thought.

  21. It can forgive but it totally cannot forget. A torn will forever exit, women will tend to be more sensitives, it burden her, burden him, burden the kids and family too. It really a challenge how to deal with the marriage again.
