  1. Ooohhhh, I know when my other half is all stressed out. There are lots of tell tale signs. And when he's like that, I do encourage him to talk about it. I think it helps to talk because although I might not be able to solve his problem, at least he's sharing half the weight on his shoulder with me. After all, that's what marriage is all about, isn't it?

  3. Hmm, my hubby will talk less and becomes quiet when he's stress.. I'll let him do whatever he wants (playing PS3, watching animation online etc), then towards the end of the night, try to talk to him..

  4. Many symptoms for women... for me, it's either sudden snapping or short fuse, or just easily irritated, or quietness, or very emotional (cry easy) or cannot sleep. Nothing to do with food, that's me, but you hv to know your wife type.

As for what to do, you know her best... simple things like giving her a few hours to a day to a few days break/holiday, ie NO house chores, just pamper her with spa or mani pedi or what ever she likes, even a good book, time to herselves, time to her friends, or just talking it out, letting us women pour our feelings (i appreciate a listenening ear than a mr-fix-it), a good laugh maybe...

you're such a good husband. wish mine made more effort.

  5. When she's moody...bad tempered. Do what? Take her out for dinner, let her take your credit cards and go shopping....and in the end, hubby stress! LOL!!!

  6. She's not eating as usual, more quiet, prefer to be alone. You can start a converstion by asking about her days, her friends or works..slowly talk about problems she facing today..

  11. 1) My hubb becomes very quiet and serious when he's under stress.
    2) I just keep quiet, too. Leave him in peace and if he's finally talking, I listen.

  12. normally my hub will behave quite and abit mangchang especially the kids get very noti, the de-stress, he will watch TV and movie .

for me, i prefer go for a shopping, get something to make myself happy, if my hub couldn't accompany me. hahah ..

but, sometime , some spouse really couldn't sense if the other half is stress or unhappy ... some really "mok" and un-sensitive :P

  13. When my hubby becomes very quiet, then I know he has something on his mind and in stress. Hubby is a very chatty person, so a change of mood indicating he is very stressful. Usually I will spend some times together with him (after kids sleep at night) and let him talk his heart out. I be the listener and he talks.

  15. Well, she will behave differently and have a slightly foul mood. I can sense it. I will keep quiet till she feel better and talk abt it later, if needed. afterall, everyone needed some personal space.
