Yong Vui Kong.................

Actually i did not bother much about the save Vui Kong and a 100,000 signatures campaign to support an appeal requesting clemency for a Yong Vui Kong untill i stumbled upon on some websites narrating about this young man and i felt sad.

He did not have the luxury of having a comfortable childhood like my sons have, he was raised in a broken home and he did not even complete his year six education whereby my sons have got their education in a way planned out.

He had to work at young age to support his family for his mother was suffering from chronic depression, at 15 years of age he moved to Kota Kinabalu eventually over to Kuala Lumpur in search of better opportunities, juggling odd jobs and in that process he got to know some kind of " kind" friends in secret societies.

And with the promise of good payout, a young innocent Vui Kong was asked to deliver a "gift" and that " gift" turned out to be 47gm of heroin and he was caugth at the age of 18 years in June 13, 2007 and a death sentence was passed on him on Jan 7, 2009.

Right untill now Vui Kong's mother is still not aware of her child's fate and as far as i am concerned i would want to be part of the 100,000 signatures.

Note : Please raise our children with wisdom, care, love and more love, they are just too innocent to believe the untrue to be true.

If you feel like i do and wanna do something for this boy, please come here

P/S : I feel sad because i am a father

  2. Dunno... No comment. I always tell my daughter - never trust strangers, not even nice old ladies who ask you to help carry her bag or want to borrow the handphone. These days, we do not know who to trust anymore. Better be safe than sorry...

  5. 不签,是因为他真的错了。。。不幸的家庭不是借口。签,是因为我是一个孩子的妈,我心痛。所以我签了,因为我希望每个人都给孩子一个机会。

  8. i'm not signing, and it doesn't mean he deserves the death sentence. everybody have to realize,he was there for a reason - the death sentence was a deterrent . and now,if this young man is my son, sure i want all your signatures and prays to almighty God,he be pardoned,BUT those parents whom their children were influenced one way or another by my son, would want him to face the law accordingly.
i'm sorry if i offended any of you out there for this my sincere comment.

  11. I've already signed, but it's up to the Singapore government court's decision.

After all, he has violated Singapore's law and sad to say, he deserves the verdict.

  13. there are many yongs out there..i think the law should see the repentance in a person.. if others show no sign of remorse, then different.. if one is already a changed person, he should be let off? am i right? or is it difficult to deduce a person? sigh.. i m now reading more about him in the websites..

  15. Will our signatures make a difference? I have doubts... but yes... I will sign it. Everyone make mistakes...but like what STP said... nobody can be trusted. Just look at Jesus... he had 12 Apostle... and one of them betrayed him. If that can happen to Jesus... it can also happen to us.

  16. yes, children have to be taught never to accept any kind of gifts from strangers, and parents have to do their best to keep a lookout.

Never trust anyone - not lately.
