One for the Money, Two for the shoes......

I was happy last saturday when i went shopping with my family, i saw garlands of flowers placed at the entrance of one particular shop, i guess it was a norm in this case and it must be a ceremony for a opening of a new shop, as i looked up to the name of the shop, it stated Birkenstock, immediately without a split second of doubt, i charged into the shop

I have been wanting to buy a pair of said sandal for myself and for my lovely wife for a long while now, i remember the last pair of Birkenstock i bought was about 13 years ago, and eventually the sole distributor in Penang stop carrying the said brand, i had to wait so i waited.

So the nearest i could get hold of them is in the capital city i was told and i had wanted to try to buy on ebay, but i was cautioned against it as far as originality and authenticity was concerned.

(I fell in love with the thong shaped classic white Birkenstock as soon as i laid my eyes on them, and i was so impressed with the ones i bought for my lovely wife that sure enhances my wife's classiness. ahem ahem.)

I am a believer of good value for money products, hence when i saw Birkenstock readily available in front of my own eyes, i was so happy. Initially, i only wanted to buy one pair for myself, then i was thinking,i must be kind of selfish to do that, if good thing is not shared with the family, then i am no good, so i ended up buying a pair for my lovely wife, a pair for Jovial and a pair for Marvell respectively.

In total i paid about RM 759.90 for 4 pairs of Birkenstock in one day, and this had never happened before and i strongly believe it was worth every penny i spent on these products, and thank god i have money saved for it.

Note ) this is not a paid post, but i just love Birkenstock.

  1. wow! 700+ spent on sandals! I would die from hunger just to buy them... But yes treating your feet better because they are the one who does most of the hard work when we stand on them, walk on them, run on them... Reminds me I need to pamper them some time... lotion, scrub... Pedicure please!
