It is finally here..............

Heard from my son, this morning the Headmaster of his school announced that there was indeed a confirmed H1N1 case detected in the school. Just when i thought that it would take a little longer to reach my son's school, i was dead wrong on that presumption.

One thing i really loathe about us in generally as far as H1N1 is concerned is, we still think it can be taken lightly. depsite the fact we have daily reported death case since may be like last two weeks ago, generally we are still very lacking in public hygiene and even our own hygiene.

We can still see people happily sneaze without due precaution and due respect for others, when they sneaze or cough, they dont even take the trouble to cup their mouth, and that's totally unacceptable.

P/S : Today H1N1, tomorrow ?

  2. It is finally here and there.... its inevitable. We just have to be careful, practise personal hygiene and think of others (not oneself) when we are sick. Everyone must do their part, but do you see this happening?

  3. Oh boy, it's getting really bad. Latest death toll have risen to 64and the government insisted that a state emergency declares only when it rises to 0.4%. Meanwhile, we really need to practise good personal hygiene. Can your son's school advise to be closed by all means? Parent's power!

  5. Just too much of ignorant people around us.. sigh..

It's hard to rely on gov alone to control the spread, everyone is responsible to control it! but.. sigh.. I am sorry, but quite a number of the aunties i've seen, [REALLY SORRY, but that really what I saw] just simply didn't care about people around. [EMPHASIZE: QUITE A NUMBER DOES NOT EQUAL TO ALL]

One of the aunty in my aunty even said "alah.. where got so easy to spread la.. just little cough plus flu only ma.. the newspaper just exaggerate la.. plus if really kena then nasib loh"

DISCLIMER: QUITE A NUMBER DOES NOT EQUAL TO ALL!

  6. cant worry too much eugene...just have to keep our immune system at tip top condition...after all it's just a Flu. Who knws me & u might have it but not sooo bad as for those with co-morbids liek ppl with asthma, diabetes, obese, heart problem, kidney problem, cancer, pregnant, child & elderly.
Just pray that we are healthy enough to combat H1N1. Take care!

  10. Wear a mask, avoid crowded places and peak hours... You can avoid people coughing or sneezing but not if they have a viral fever - you can never tell. Many suffering from fever and cough (I know especially lots of teachers and students in school)like what I had...and some say it's H1mild. I'm ok now...and I do hope that has given me some antibodies against the real thing!

  11. My colleagues have kids in school that the school have a few suspected H1N1 but did not do a closure. Eventually, now my colleagues kids are falling sick one by one... but being parents they are, "Panadol lah" was what the kids was told to take. Isn't that dangerous? I mean if I were a parent myself and if my kids fall sick I would immediately demand for a swab to check! It is getting more and more now...

But I had a friend that had H1N1, he met a doctor that told him "H1N1" is in everybody, just waiting for your immune system to break down before it breaks out" So regardless of what, the most important is we need to strenghten our immune system.

Drink more water, suffcient rest, vege and fruit consumption. That is the most important.
