While i was driving to pick my son Jovial up from school, on the way to school, suddenly there was a tinkling of sort of pain happened on my left chest, it was not intense but incessant for a short while, i was scared for a moment, i thought i had a heart attack.
I calmed myself down, took a long deep breath and visualizing a healthy me and picturing myself having good time with the family, and the pain was subdued and now i am ok already.
I remember many months ago, i had the same problem, it was abrupt chest discomfort, i went straight to see the doc, was told it was not heart attack, it was due to the so called unseen stress that i had been experiencing.
At 44 of age, been hearing some friends for that matter, suffering from heart attack and some had succumbed to the sickness, it just scares me sometimes, seriously.
Sometimes, it is so easy to tell ourselves to hang loose, to relax or to learn to let go, but when it comes to the real grind of it, it is rather hard said than done, isn't it?
Never mind lah, today is my favourite day, Friday, sickness will not come my way when it is my happy day.hahahahaha.
P/S : Wishing you all good health and happy always

Bro..i experienced that before. It's stress and symptoms of an anxiety attack. Since you are feeling better after calming down yourself, it's likely stress.Anyway, do an ECG to ensure your heart is alright.
ReplyDeleteAnd try to relax...one good way is to do cardio exercise 4 times daily and sleep well. Take care bro and have a good weekend

ReplyDeleteTake care Bro, sometimes it might be because you didn't get enough sleep. Drinks with high cafeine can also cause this.
ReplyDeleteHi Eugene!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, in this day and age, not many people can run away from stress. It's this terribly hectic and demanding life we live and our competetive nature to constantly strive for the best, not just for us, but for the family too.
However, let's try not to succumb to it all and with our family and loved ones on our sides, I'm sure we'll find some love and peace within them.
Have a lovely weekend and hope it will be a relaxing one for you my friend.
X
Hei Bro...i've similar problems on and off too and i'm older. To get a thorough medical checkup whenever you can...I know it's easy to say `relax lar' but I know sometimes, it is easier said than done..Stay healthy ....CHEERS...
ReplyDeleteNobody is ever too young to die. I just got my full body check up. Go and have yours.
ReplyDeletea heart attack is when you feel as if your chest is being stomped by an elephant and the pain spreads to your back eg arm or neck and usually on the right side.well that is what I learn theoretically.
