My friends used to tell me blogging is not for someone like me a 43 years guy, IT idiot but i used to tell that they were wrong, they said blogging is for teens, for the SAHMs and those IT savvy person, and again i said to them, if they do not blog, they just dont know what they are missing out.
Personally, i have been blogging about 17 months and i can testify that i'm loving every minute of it, it has given me so much joy and i have even been able to find some cliques of my own, those that i have grown passionate about.........
So today's post is a special forum that i wish for your participation to share your thoughts about blogging.............
1)How did you start blogging, what was your one driving factor?
2)What was your happiest blogging experience?
3)What was your most frustrasting blogging experience?
4)Have you made any good friends out of your blogging friends who were previously not your friends?
5)What was the rudest comment you ever received?
6)Have you thought of giving up blogging?
7)Do you consider yourself a blog junkie?
8)What is just one thing pleasant you wish could happen to your blog?
9)If i say blogging is more about passion rather than commission($$$$),do you agree?
10)Please reconmmend to us 2 bloggers' blog which you feel that we should not miss..
P/S : Words written sometimes can be more edifying than words spoken.....

There have been some rude comments, but I have forgotten who and where. And there have been friends who now know me better than others I have met face to face.
It is all about sharing. $$$ is just the sideline.

ReplyDeleteBlogging is a way to express your thoughts and feelings and also to share ideas..For me,blogging is a way to capture the moment,of what I've experienced in life so that my children in future will know what I've been through. So far, for me visitors have been nice, leaving good comments..but for now, my blog is really a personal blog so I only invite those friends that I want...
ReplyDeleteDear, too many questions to answer. Well, you know me personally, in fact you helped me answer my blogging questions. Ha ha...
ReplyDeletemmm,...i just started blog2 recently.i know my English is quite bad.im 46 and i think blogging is therapeutic in a way.sometimes when we want to express ourselves much better, its easier to write it out, than to call everybody up and listens to one's rants,opinions,blah-blah,etc.yeah,some says that its just an artificial/virtual world you created for yourselves ,but i think its one of the best place that each individual can express their feelings - whether its showing off your new pair of shoe or complaining about your noisy neigbour, its all very therapeutic in this stressful world . just 3 postings and i beginning to like it.
ReplyDeleteok ok... I shall do it in my blog too over the weekend.. nice one.. at least I got idea what to post.. :)
ReplyDeleteBOLD Talk.. my mission accomplished.. please check and give reward! haha...

very good!
I will answer your question too in my next post!
You are great!
To be honest I'm quite shocked when I came across your blog because I didnt expect a 43-year-old to update his blog so frequently, or even to have a blog!
ReplyDeleteI read lots of blogs created by bloggers of my age range, and I find most of them 'empty'. Ntg much to learn from, before I came across yours. ;)
A blog to recommend by Keith, a patient suffering from Multiple Sclerosis: http://fatgrocer.blogspot.com/
hope u enjoy that! =)
answers posted in my blog...hahahaa... =)
ReplyDeleteBlogging is something that really puts in a situation whereby if we are in a bad mood, we can just rant it all out!
ReplyDeleteI have been blogging for a very long time now. Of course I did get bored at a certain point of time and because I just don't know what to write sometimes! But I am finally back at it, decided to change my way of writing.
I think I changed at least haha :P.
Wow! So many questions, I just read the answers from Reanaclaire. Haha!
ReplyDeleteI am a blog addict and I love blogging! I think I have a passion for it, meaning I don't mind sacrificing my time and energy for it! And with no $$$ compensation!
And besides blogging, I love to read other people's blogs too! Sometimes I wonder where I have time to do other things?!!
I've been blogging since last year. It all started when I took an interest in all those Malaysian political blogs. I thought, why not start a blog myself? But it had to be a blog where I can talk about anything and everything under the sun! No niche blog for me unless I want to make money! Maybe I will go into more specific blogs later but meantime this one blog I have is good enough for me. Have never looked back since! : )
ReplyDeleteHey, instead of just asking these questions and hoping your readers would answer them, why not start a tag and tag your readers? But pls don't tag me ah, I don't like to do tags very much! Hehe
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteFor me, a blog is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. These special features initiate me to set up a blog and is a very good medium to share thoughts and feelings instantaneously with friends and family and is much faster than e-mailing or writing.
