Hope this will quell your whatever Blues....

I was having coffee with a dear friend the other day, then my friend's friend happened to saunter into the coffee shop as well and he asked if he could join us, sure both of us said.

My hunch was right as this guy must be in the business between Insurance and MLM cos he just possessed that type of "over friendliness" when as soon as he sat down, he asked me what I was doing, I just divulged the truth lah.

Then he continued "Bingo" again did I know anybody who was suffering from cancers, I said not at the present moment but he was kind of adamant that I should know a few cos he claimed cancer very common ma, then I said okay lah, know one that my brother just recovering from it, then he came with the Greatest Discovery.

He then expounded one product from a MLM company supposedly from the USA, supposedly listed in the Fortune Top 40, supposedly the company has in its panel world's renown scientists, doctors and top notch researchers in the field of cancer studies.

I didn't ask him to delve further into what that MLM company was but zealously he said I must give it a try, can make money as the same time helping people who were suffering from cancer. Politely I told him I was not interested in MLM , so blah blah blah blah he continued.

I felt kind of perturbed by his incessant "promotion" of his company and its products, then sarcastically (didn't care so much lah) I said I would introduce two customers for him, if he managed to sell to them, he was surely on his way to super millionaire list.

Eagerly he asked me,"who who" I said, "Leow Teong Lai " naively or stupidly he asked for his contact, I just told him to look for him from our Health Ministry home page lah.........I almost dropped dead.

No offense to my friends who are in MLM business but the way some "over promote" their products really incenses me, you see if those products can really heal cancers, bring it to WHO, bring it to CNN, bring it to Medical Journal, why bring it to me....

P/S : Please have mercy to those who are already suffering...

  2. I have a friend who was in mlm a decade ago. He really 'morphed' into a different personality , thanks to those trainings he had with the mlm company. Years after I met him again and he told me he has dump mlm. He told me he has lost many friends due to his selling and decided to call it a day.
