It ain't foolhardy

When I told a few friends of mine that I would be going for the Bersih 3.0 rally that was held concurrently with almost 38 locations around the globe to show my support for a cleaner and fair elections, my friends cautioned me please stay away from it because the previous rally turned ugly even in Penang.
I said to them,I was not being foolhardy to participate in that rally,I would still be there even it turned out ugly for one thing I srongly believe "talk is cheap" and I just had to be there for the sake of my country and my children, even our presence (me and my lovely wife) can be so insignificant and may be amount to nothing but I just had to be there

You know I really hated it, when those people start to complain so much of this and that, they say "ya ya we must make the change" but when you ask them if they had registered as legitmate voter, they say "no time lah, can wait one lah

Now it got me thinking how many of Jesus's followers abandoned HIM when he called them to follow HIM

I am happy that my lovely wife shares the same concern like I do.....: ...........

P/S : Talk is cheap and if you want to make that change,it has got to start with you

    1. Do not rule out that the govt engineered the violence. You can also see that most of these participants of violence is not wearing yellow, even if wearing yellow could be a gimmick.

  7. We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop - Mother Teresa
    We've done our part, Eugene.

  8. HI Eugene,
Thanks for standing in for those of us who can make it. As usual the government tried to turn things around and paint a different picture. But photos dont lie and those who were there can testified.
I just dont understand why our police are so brutal and heartless even attack innocent people and even the press. Just hope people will wake up and vote for change. This govern has already expired and cannot pakai anymore. Time we get new one, and we will be watching them as well

  9. Most police and army are just brainless attack dogs working for the rich and powerful who are running the country. Politicians make laws mostly to protect themselves. The more law they created, the more powerful they become. In Sarawak, those poor little businessmen who were trying to make some money from bird nest now found they have to sell to those rich well connected cronies who act as middleman in the name of quality control.

  12. Recent fall of China big wig Bo Xilai and story of how his wife murdered business partner is a reminder for us never to trust any
politicians. This power couple have killed so many people. Their playboy son is a big joke in Havard.

"Following documented cases of United States-based organizations funding pro-opposition civil society groups associated with civil unrest in Russia and the Middle East, Chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan acknowledged that the Bersih coalition received financial support from the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and George Soros’ Open Society Institute (OSI)...While concern over electoral corruption and the various legitimate grievances of Bersih supporters may be entirely justified, the coalition’s association with opposition political parties and groups financed by the United States government suggests subversion..."
