17th and 18th

May be I am not a friend who is worth a visit from you but then again please don't ever tell me that you would visit me in the first place, for an example, I was told a dear old friend who came back from Amsterdam last month, she did not even give me a call, lest a visit, I didn't mind at all cos she never said that she would.

A week ago, another old friend came back to Penang and she said she would meet up with me on the 18th,as sure as she sounded but then again, she left without even a call, also another friend who promised that he would catch me up on the 17th, also left without saying hello.

Seriously I am not blaming my friends who "refused" to meet up with me but the disappointment is when they sounded so sanguinely for like wanting to meet up and that's the sad part.
Thank God though my disappointment was swiftly subsided with the joy of Christmas and thank you Ban Leng and Lai Hing for inviting me and my family to your cell group xmas party year after year, that my friends.

P/S : I still love you my friends

  4. Yeah, I totally understand you. I've had some people saying that they want to meet us and such but come the day, they were all quiet and un-contactable. Good thing that I don't really put high hopes of them to fulfill their promise.

But then, like Bananaz commented, as least they didn't make us wait for hours somewhere and never turn up.

  6. I dont like people who give false hope. I have a person who says she wants to meet up and it's been almost a year now and still no meeting. Once that person even said to me in a text message" you are saying I am bluffing?" I should have said YES, but just to be polite and to give that person a benefit of a doubt, I said no la. Christmas is almost here. still no meeting.
So Eugene cheer up you are not the only one been let down. So next time we play smart and if they say they want to meet up just say we are busy or please make an appointment with my secretary. Have a Merry Christmas my friend.
