God..did you help her or she refused you ?

It almost broke my heart, when I saw a church member or should I say a former church member, looking kind of cuckoo, talking silently to herself and wearing a shabby looking house coat in the afternoon, wandering away in front of me.

After seeing her and as I was driving by, was thinking to myself, what brought her to this state, did anyone offer her help or did she decline any? Did the church know about this? or they refuse to acknowledge that she was one of them? or did she willingly allow herself to be eaten by insanity or was she too late to be brought back to senses? I really don't know.

I was telling myself if I were to see her again,(I am sure I can) I would walk up to her and try talking to her,who knows all that she really wanted is to be recognized and to let you and me know that she exists....................yes I will sure talk to her.

I really don't know why people go cuckoo or insane, probably all that they really wanted was to be heard, to be hugged and too be loved and sometimes all these little things are the hardest one can give...isn't it?

P/S : We can talk so much about love but do we really give out some?

  1. I was just telling my friend that last night. Love God and think others. Don't just let it be a slogan but it has to have actions into it.

Honestly I won't know what I will do if I were in your shoes, but I will not pretend to not know that person.

Life is not everyday rainbows and butterflies huh...

  3. it's hard if one doesn't feel the existing of LOVE! Sometimes, one is better feeling insane than facing the rejection.. or maybe the rejection bring the insanity! May GOD Bless her..

  4. sometimes this things happen. Why we will never know.
she might or might not recognise you , but it does not matter, just your willingness to help and show some loe is enough. continue to pray for her. It's good to bring this up to the church .They might not know what happen. just give then a benefit of a doubt. God Bless you bro for being so caring.

  5. There was a similar woman who lived in our childhood, when I was young. It was her family's neglect that made her lose her sanity and finally she succumbed to it.

It will be a good gesture if you'd go up to her and talk. May be, like you said, she just wants to be heard. God bless!

  7. It happens everywhere, whether the person is a Christ's believer or not.

We must have a greater faith and a strong mind to overcome the "mental" and emotion problems.

  8. She's only looking kind of cuckoo. Are you sure she's cuckoo?

I often talk to myself - loudly too and dress shabbily but I am not cuckoo.

  9. I believe everyone has had asking the same question since the beginning of time.
I tried to help a blind man crossing a street once, but he pushed me back saying he can do it himself. Go figure....
