Pornography,, now and then.

I remember when i was in my teen, it was so hard for me to go out and buy porn material (back then we called it sex book) me and my gang would have to take turn to purchase one sex book at least for once if we wanted to view the sex books brought into school by fellow students. It was twenty over years ago.

When my turn finally dawned, i could still remember back then in the street called Macalister Road, there were those second bookstores manned mostly by Indians, that was the place i remember of going to purchase my first sexbook.

It was so embarassing for me, i had to pretend to browse through other books which i was not at all interested in and i had to make sure that there were no police man inside and outside the bookstores, then if my memory doesn't fail me, i had to choke on my voice and saying this to the shop keeper, " Boss, you ada buku kotor kah?(boss you've got dirty book books sale or not?)the shopkeeper would say this back to me," boy, sini tak ada buku kotor, sini semua buku second hand.(boy there are no dirty books here, i only sell second hand books)and i said this," sorry boss, bukan buku kotor, buku sex lah." the shopkeeper then would shame me a bit then he would go to the back and ditch out the sexbook, i remember it was 80 cents for a second hand sexbook.

I guess if i were to be a teen living in the current age of time, i dont have to go through the embarassement like i did back then, with a click of a button on the internet you can have free porn material from every corner of the world.

Back then, i was so scared that my parent would kill me if they found out that i had porn in my possession, so whenever it was my turn to safekeep the sex books that were entrusted to me, it was my nightmare.

Now, they can just view in on the net, clear the search history and the parents will never find out if they had visited the porn sites.

My friend was worried if he should let his son have access to the internet when there is no one home in afternoon...

Happy weekend folks, see you guys on Monday

P/S : Be prepared for the changing of times...............

  4. Now it's so easy to get access to it online... That's why should guide the children, guiding them along the right path - prohibiting them will make it worse. Forbidden fruit is sweeter.

  9. In life there is always two sides of a coin. One relative of mine refused to install the internet worried sick his children would surf the 'dirty' sites and got one friend who says let them see whatever until they get bored rather then they 'curi' go outside cyber cafes even more dangerous. tQ.

  13. Hrm... I'm not sure about others, I personally think craving for 'sex' is part of human instinct. As suituapui commented, " Forbidden fruits are sweeter"... I don't think I would stop my kids from seeing pornograph, perhaps I would just set some rules or boundaries for them. I think it might be fun to watch porn film with my kids though, kiahahaha!

    Happy weekend!

  15. It's so easily accessible now on the Net. During the 80s and 90s, the easiest way to watch it is to rent video tapes. heheh
