One early morning, one old friend

It was a nice breezy Sunday morning, could not really sleep in late, took a peek into my wonderful sons and they were still sleeping. I was pacing myself up and down in the living room, then suddenly i decided to go out and bought breadfast for the boys,it was 7.15 am.

Still driving around, could not decide what to buy for them, untill i drove passed a "mamak staill" , ok "roti canai" would be it for breadfast. Walking into the shop, ordered myself a roti canai and a coffee "O"

Done with "roti canai" and as i was chasing my coffee"O", i saw a familiar figure walking into the shop coupled with a lady. As he walked closer, it was my old friend. I waved them over to share table with me, he looked reluctant and his face was kind of ashen.

Over breadfast, i could not ask him about his family with the presence of a unknown lady to me, and even with me asking him, did he just come back from jogging(as he was cladding in full running gear),he just went evasive.

Feeling uneasy with the situation, i told my friend that i needed to rush to see my sons and i excused myself, i moved my seat backward, stood up, turn around and sauntering out of the shop, as i made myself out, suddenly my friend called out to me as he charged to me from the back, i stopped and he said this," Bro, dont tell my wife that you'd met me here,ok bro?" and i said "ok ok bro, no prob" as i was turning away, i was asking myself, why did he say that to me.

That's all folks, have a great week ahead and God bless.

Note: This is the second i blog about the same kind of incident, albeit different characters, different venues but then again same story line. Yes i have funny friends

P/S : Are sporting gears, early morning and mamak eatery apt for secret rendezvous?

  20. Hmm...i think i have read this entry before...or something similar...

Anyway, having canai for breakfast sounds good. But I can hardly find good canai in Kuching. Maybe because i love laksa sarawak more than everything. Hahaha

You know what? last week i met an old friend at a coffee shop by accident.I chatted with him for 15 minutes but he kept on saying wrong things about me. At the end of the conversation, he confessed to me that he actually had forgotten whom i was. hahaha...i felt like slapping his face.
