Can somebody tell me why........?

This one is going to be a very short post, however to me it is thought provoking, please share your thoughts with me too........

Went to see a customer yesterday and he narrated this to me.................

" Last time when my parents sent me to study in Australia, they pleaded with me to no matter what i must come back as soon as i got my mortar board" and he continued " Now it is my turn to plead with my children, telling them not to come back after they have gratuated from overseas"

Have a great weekend guys and God bless

  3. It depends on each individual. If for my parents, I'm very sure they still prefer us to COME BACK after graduated. And for me, I will think the same as my parents does. No matter how politically messy, Malaysia is still the best country to stay.

  4. not just your customers.. in my previous job, I think I can see the huge difference in ppl migrating and also not wanting to stay in Malaysia.. it's a pity.. but what to do, some ppl just don't feel safe staying here for their next generation!

  7. It's a very inividual decision this. Maybe they're aiming for status and recognition? I don't know. I was Malaysian educated through and through and i still do quite well in the UK with my qualifications. But like I said earlier, it's a very individual decision. X

  9. NOT to come back = they gonna lost their children forever, unless they migrate together loh..

but what for to send them so far if want them to come back to Malaysia, their salary in Malaysia also not enough to pay for their school fees.

  11. if the children felt at ease over the other side,i think it's okay and alright.they can settle down and may be,even live there as long as possible.we all looked up at the same stars and moon.where each ones are,the heart at ease - that's home.

  14. Hi Eugene,

The title is an invite to all to hurry up and join us in our celebration. I almost wanted to write FAI DE! FAI DE!

You like to Fai De and join us at Friday Shoot out? Great meme and you make great cyber friends.

Did you watch the Teletubbies with your kids?

The red one, Po is a Chinese teletbubby. She says FAI DE FAI DE, which means Hurry! Hurry in Cantonese.

I just happened to explain to my kids in school this week. Of course my New Zealand kids didn't know. Now, when they see me at lunch time, they say FAI DE FAI DE. LOL

  15. Like ngao says, we see the same stars and moon, the world is very small. I am a three generational family that went abroad.

My dad went and returned home.
Some of my siblings went and stayed abroad, some of them returned.
Now my kids, some are here and some returned.

It's all a personal choice. It's good to go and have the experience.

BTW, the previous post is my response to your comment on my Friday Shoot Out Post about my funny title.

  18. We elected the government so the government should be afraid of us and not us afraid of the government.. unless this is a dictatorship then we better leave...
The world is getting smaller and transparent small minded and corrupted government can't really last
