That's the End ?

A good old school mate of mine MSNed me this morning, it has been a long while since i chatted with her, she has always been a very chirpy, jovial and carefree person from the very first i knew her but this time she is not the person that i once knew, so the story goes.............

She told me that she was very cynical now, and she hated the sight of married men and she even slighted most of her married male colleagues.(she is in a top management, and she has quite a number of male staff under her), i asked her why, at first she didn't want to divulge, but me being me, i am good at grilling for answers, in the end she relented.

She was recently dumped by her living in boy friend who she had been with for the past 8 years, when she knew him, she knew that he was married, in the beginning she was so adamant that it was only a platonic relationship, eventually she fell prey because of his persistence and so called nice feeling.

Along the 8 years of their behind the door relationship, she had helped him many times financially to rebuild, restart or to resuscitate his business, she had no complaint about it, the wife knew about the relationship, surprisingly no havoc from her.

Just about two months ago,her partner called it quit, citing the reason of being guilty to his wife after all these years, and he wanted to make peace with himself, with his family and with God, he apologized to my friend for his misdeed and he just walked out.

When i asked my friend, did he hate him to the bone, to my amazement, my friend said not at all, she knew well this day would come sooner or later but she really hated the reasons that he put forth for the breaking up, the sorts of guilty feeling, making peace with himself and worst still she hated this reason the most, making peace with God.

I told my friend, not to worry but she said there was nothing to worry for simply because she is in her mid forties and no single man dares to draw close to her,(she is financially sound, and in a powerful position career wise)

Q) Do you think the reasons her EX gave her were true? I just wonder.

P/S : Please God first, you shall then be Appease..............

  2. Hmm...8 years is a very long time. Do you think he came to his senses after 8 years?? Sometimes, 3-leg-relationship (direct translate from mandarin) are very complicated.

  4. no right to judge the guy.

but if he really felt remorse and wanted to make peace, we should thank god for it.

  17. Very hard to comment. Cant really say the guy cheated her coz most of the time married men would not divorce the wife to be with the gf. Should have anticipated the result from the start. The wife might have known about the relationship but she kept quiet could be due to she wanted to hold on to her man or for the children.
