I need help,and i need it quick.....

Dont know why i have been hiccupping since yesterday afternoon untill today, the sounds of it irritate me and the hiccupp is close to incessant, i really hate it, i cant talk over the phone with my customers and today i feel like a walking Rap Star, instead of churning out "Yo Yo Yo" i go " brup, brup, brup".

So i need your help now, do you have any remedies that could heal one out of hiccup in a jiffy, mine is now aggravated with some coughs already.

Please share with me, be it grand mother's remedy or grand father's remedy as long as it relieves me, i will be more than happy.

P/S : Please release me and let me go for i dont love you anymore,, i mean my hiccup lah

  3. drink a whole mug of warm water in little sips continuously without stopping till complete. you will never have a hiccough while drinking. & if it comes, you will feel a lump in your throat & that will be the end of your hiccough.

  6. When a baby is having a hiccup, we'll put a wet tissue on his forehead, but then again.. you are not a baby arent you? :D

Seeing a ghost in front of you might get rid of that hiccup once and for all :)

  13. Try drink a full mouth of water. Then swallow it little by little and finish it in 7x. Meanwhile you have to close your nose and stop breathing while swallowing the water. Try second time if it doesn't work on the 1st try.

  15. I'm sure your hiccup is gone by now, but if it's still there, i've got a remedy for you. First I have to apoligise cos it's disgusting but it works, apparently. Hubby swears by it. Just drink like a shot of Worcestershire Sauce (Lea and Perrins). I'm turning green in the face just typing this, but it works for hubby EVERY time. Good luck for next time..hehehe!

  16. Eugene, your case sounds rather extreme to me but a GUARANTEED remedy for any "normal" hiccup which has worked 100% of the time for me is this: I drink 7 BIG gulps of water (room temperature will do) at one go. Better to drink from a bottle coz the glass wouldn't hold that much amount. I've tried it with 6 and 8, it doesn't work. So, here it is again, SEVEN bIG GULPS NON-STOP!
