I have just been ascended to the status of grand uncle, seriously(grand uncle, or in Hokkien it is called Ku Kong)One of my many nephews has been made a father as well, and that's the reason i am a grand uncle now.
This girl is so special not only she'd made me a Ku Kong (grand uncle) she'd also made my mother a great grand mother, and she's the first one to do that in our household.
So let me have the priviledge to introduce to you to this lil one........her name is Leticia Yeang, born 7th of November 2009 to the wonderful parents of Deon and Ivy.
In fact it is a double whammy for me this week, i am celebrating my 13th wedding anniversary and i am a grand uncle now to Leticia, oh what a joy............
P/S : When the heart is open, the blessing shall come in many folds

'giong hi giong hi' on the new status !! there's nothing that beats the joy of a newborn in the family especially in an extended family where everybody rejoices in the birth of a new addition to the family.

Oh i dunno what is it with babies and me nowadays... im not a father nor a husband but i once help to take care of my baby cousin and the feeling of taking care such small and fragile baby is just simply amazing... you look into their eyes and you could just imagining the whole future that lies ahead of them... congrats Eugene!
i think i ll become a grand auntie at a very young age too, bcos i become auntie at the age of 8.
