Ghost... an eerie night.

My wife is away for two days and as a norm, whenver my wife is not around, my two sons would insist that they sleep in with me, so they did last night. After reading some books, my eldest knocked off first, my lil son came later and me was the last to sleep, and indeed it was a sound sleep.

In the middile of the night, i heard my lil son stomped out of the room, went straight to the master room and as if he was talking to somebody, shortly after which he came back lying next to me, crying. I was half awoken, so didnt want to bother, again he stomped into the master, and came back again crying for about three times straight. Finally, with my heavy eyes, i asked him what happened, he was mumbling away with his voice choked with tears something like this, " i told you not to follow me, go away, go away"

I got a lil scared by now, i woke up and gave him a hug, instead he took my hands and led me to the master room and pointed at the washroom, and said this to me" Papa, i told him not to follow me already, but he still disturbs me" it was dark and i had a goose bump while listening to him, and gently led him to the second room, as he was still crying and i tried to tug him to sleep but he kept mumbling those words, it was 2.32 am.

And for the remaining of the eerie night, i was losing my sleep because i was on the look out for the ghost and to make sure that my lil son will not be disturbed again, and i hugged him so tightly in order to comfort him.

My lil son could be sleep talking or sleep walking but it sure gave me a ghostly feeling, and for to night, i will make sure that my sons will have a sweet dream or two.

Q) have you got any ghostly experience to share ?

P/S : My inner ghost is more real than the unseen one

  5. eeeeeee...very eerie story.

My boys sometime will tell me, there is monster in our walk in wardrobe, always ask me to close the door. Sometime i'm not sure it's real or they just make up the story, and i have to act with it. I will tell them no monster in mummy's wardrobe, or i will show them, where is the momster..show mummy, mummy will punch and kick the momster, i have to punch and kick in air and show them i'm "killing" the monster. hahahahhaha

  6. When I was a kid, I had a conversation with my uncle while his own funeral was going on. I went up to my mom and told her uncle said I should drink more milk and told her he was in the back room talking to me. These things are unexplainable.

And then when we moved to our new house my sis and I used to fall sick alot and I could hear voices calling my name so my mom got a priest and he cleansed the house and we've been okay every since.

This could have been a one off thing, just closely monitor your lil boy and see if it happens on a nightly basis.

  7. Ooo... this is very scary! When I was young, I think early teens, just entered secondary school not too long. I woke up in the middle of the night, by old man voices keep calling my name for help. But I could not move, could not talk, could not even open my eyes! Very scary. And I felt so scare after that. It happened to me twice.

Anyway, hope your boy is just having sleep walking and not the eerie thing that we thought.

  8. I think instead of running in fear, confront it with courage. throw angry words at them and tell them to leave for they do not belong here. I had my encounter before that I had blog about it just recently... Encounter

Else going to a temple to cleanse might be a solution.

  10. Hmmm... you better check your house. I experienced it before and we did a prayer meeting. After that, our house is safe.

  11. OMG! You lil son actually did that 3 times? How creepy that could be. :(

He could sleep walk? But I don't think this was sleepwalking? 3 similar dreams? I thing you should bring him to the temple or something!

  16. that's a bit scary. When I was a kid, I used to see a ghostly figure. None of the adults could see. I kept pointing at him too when he appeared.

But when I grew older, I don't see that figure anymore.

I wonder if it's kid's subconscious mind that makes up these funny images.

  18. That is why they call it the "witching hours" .May be you should try EVP. Just leave a recorder running in the room see what it catches.

  21. Some people believe that people with a low whatever-they-call-it may see ghosts while others cannot. I dunno what people usually do but at Catholics, we just pray...and get the priest to come and bless the house.

Maybe he's depressed because the mum's not at home. Depression can lead to hallucinations. Take multi-vitamins, B-complex...

  22. P.S.:
Children sometimes have imaginary friends. They'll outgrow it eventually...

  23. Three times is really one too many. Did you get to ask him what was that all about the following morning? He could give you a better picture of the scenario of either he was sleep-walking or was it real that he was trying to talk some spirit out of following him. I suppose you'll be monitoring him tonight? Take care, Eugene.

Btw, I've heard that what ladyviral suggests have worked.

  24. Sigh...do I have any ghostly exp? Oh, Eugene, I have a twin sister who was stillborn. She was my twin... died at birth just because I was born first. We were unidentical twins, and since I was a little girl, I could 'see' things. People said it's because of my dead twin and I have a weak body and therefore, I am more sensitive towards certain aura and energy... I dunno the reason why I can see things- especially during the funeral or before my loved ones passed on, but I can see things, and perhaps, because I'm born with an opened eyes, I'm kinda used to seeing things that your boy probably been seeing. It is actually not a scary experience, at least, for me it is not.
To tell you the truth, those things are completely harmless. Some of them are probably more scared of you than you're scared of them... you just need to remember not to disturb these things, and they will not harm you.

As for Marvel's case, he is either sensitive towards those thing's aura, or he's just having nightmares. I sleepwalk and sleep talk too when I was his age. Did not stop until I was 12yr/o, and still sleep talk now when I was exhausted before bed...(god knows what i told my husband when i sleep talk... LOL). But Eugene, I suppose, there's nothing to worry about with Marvel sleep walking or sleep talking, he's just probably tired and missed your wife...just observe him and make sure he dun do anything that can harm himself or others when he sleepwalk.
