Jesus says.............

I dont know why i've always regarded this story in the bible very profound, the story of a adulteress caught by the Pharisees, brought to Jesus and the Pharisees knew that the only sentence for this crime(adultery) was stoning to death. Therefore the Pharisees insisted that this adulteress be given just that, stoning to death.

I guess at that point,Jesus was caught in between but given his heavenly wisdom, he said this to the captors of the adulteress, the Pharisess. "Those who have no sin, please cast the first stone" how remarkable that sentence is..........

You know, sometimes i do get a little pissed off with my sons, especially the eldest one, when things that i ask him to do,he fails to do like what he is told. He behaves disdainly towards my instructions but again my sons sometimes do alert me with their profound statement and they will say this to me " Papa, you also like that what" it is kind of akin to the one said my Jesus "Those who have no sin, please cast the first stone"

So now i realized, everytime when i try to correct my sons from their mistakes, i will always say this to them " Let learn together, papa is learning from my mistakes too " and i guess they are happier this way when i try to teach me...

Q)You've got any "those who have no sin, please cast the first stone " story to share or not?

P/S : Learning to be a better father everyday.............

  1. Learning to be father everyday *quote*... is like me learning to be a mama each day too.. if we cant beat them, we got to join them.. treat them like buddies instead of superior.. but at times, still got to put a foot down.. depends...

he who have no sin cast the 1st stone? well, most of us normally cannot see our faults or weaknesses, instead we like to pinpoint others first.. got story to tell but need to recall ..hahaa..

  3. it's good to change to " Let learn together, papa is learning from my mistakes too"

I was quite rebellious kid when i was young and everytime my parents scolded me for things that they actually did that themselves too, they were actually pushing me to become more and more rebellious! I was un-nearable. =.="

but when i grow up, i've learnt that it's just human nature for zoom on others' fault and minimize own fault so I understand my parents. everything they did r actually for my own good

[BUT IT'S JUST HARD FOR KIDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT AND All KIDS HATE WHEN U TELL THEM U MUST LISTEN BECAYSE I SAID SO.. HAHA..]
